Following his triumph in the film ‘Animal’, Bobby Deol is back in the spotlight and now a fixture at Bollywood events. However, his journey to this point included a period where his father, Dharmendra, enforced strict rules. Bobby was largely confined to his home, barred from attending parties or other social events.
Bobby shared the reason for these restrictions in a recent interview. He explained that his father’s protective nature was the primary cause. He was only allowed to go to school and return home, with no other excursions permitted. Even activities like riding a bicycle were restricted to the inside of their house.
Bobby detailed an event from his childhood that escalated his father’s concern, leading to the restrictions. During his sixth grade, a classmate was kidnapped. While the friend was fortunately released, the incident prompted his father to ensure Bobby’s safety.
