Having been in the industry for approximately 23 years, Faasil has showcased exceptional versatility across various roles. He is known for his impactful portrayals of both villains and leading characters. The actor, originally from Malayalam cinema, has also starred in Tamil and Telugu films.     Born in Kerala on August 8, 1982, Abdul Hameed Mohammed Fahadh Faasil, or Fahadh Faasil, commenced his career in 2002 with the Malayalam film ‘Kaiyethum Doorath,’ directed by his father, Fazil. Since then, he has acted in many movies. These five films stand out for their critical acclaim and significant box office success.

    ‘Aavesham’
    Directed by Jithu Madhavan, ‘Aavesham’ was released in 2024. Fahadh Faasil was a producer for the film and played the lead role, with Mithun Jai Shankar, Sajin Gopu, and Pooja Mohanraj among the Malayalam cast.

    The film has a 7.8 rating out of 10 on IMDb. Its budget was 30 crore, and it grossed 154.79 crore worldwide.

    ‘Pushpa: The Rise’
    ‘Pushpa,’ a 2021 release, was a blockbuster, with its second part arriving in 2024. Fahadh Faasil portrayed a villain, gaining appreciation from viewers. Allu Arjun starred in the lead, delivering a career-defining performance. The film was directed by Sukumar, earning a 7.6 rating out of 10.

    The first part of ‘Pushpa’ had a budget of 150 crore and earned 350 crore worldwide. The second part’s budget was 400 crore, and it earned 1742 crore worldwide.

    ‘Kerala Cafe’
    ‘Kerala Cafe,’ a 2009 Malayalam film, featured Mammootty in the lead, with Fahadh Faasil in a prominent role. The film scored 7.4 out of 10 on IMDb and had a budget of 2.50 crore, earning 7 crore. This compelling Malayalam film is known for its engaging narrative.

    ‘Vikram’
    Released in 2022, the Tamil film ‘Vikram’ starred Kamal Haasan, with Fahadh Faasil also playing a key role. It earned 8.3 out of 10 on IMDb.

    ‘Vikram’ was made with a budget of 120 crore, earning 414.43 crore worldwide. This film is celebrated as one of Kamal Haasan’s blockbusters and remains popular in South India.

    ‘Kumbalangi Nights’
    ‘Kumbalangi Nights,’ released in 2019, was directed by Madhu C. Narayanan. Fahadh Faasil was the lead, supported by Soubin Shahir, Sreenath Bhasi, Mathew Thomas, and Anna Ben.

    The film has an 8.5 rating out of 10 on IMDb and earned 39 crore at the box office, against a budget of 4.8 crore.
