Fans of ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ will have to bid farewell to the hope of Disha Vakani’s return as Dayaben. Her brother, Mayur Vakani, has confirmed that the actress will not be rejoining the cast of the popular sitcom.
Mayur stated that Disha’s focus on her children prevents her from returning to the show. He reflected on her career, emphasizing the importance of honesty and faith in work, which led to her success as Dayaben. He mentioned that she is currently fully engaged in her role as a mother. This announcement follows Asit Modi’s previous confirmation that Disha would not be returning. The actress left the show in 2018 for maternity leave and has not returned since.
