At a recent concert in Brisbane, Australia, Diljit Dosanjh implicitly responded to recent Khalistani threats by delivering a message centered on love and unity. The singer-actor chose to address the controversy indirectly, urging his audience to focus on positivity and reject negativity. His performance became a platform to advocate for harmony, even in the face of alleged threats aimed at disrupting his Australian tour.

The controversy stems from Dosanjh’s appearance on ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’, where he was seen touching Amitabh Bachchan’s feet. A Khalistani terror group has reportedly issued threats to disrupt his Melbourne concert on November 1st, coinciding with Sikh Genocide Remembrance Month. The group has accused Dosanjh of disrespecting the victims of the 1984 Sikh Genocide. In response, Dosanjh declared on stage, “I will always keep talking about love. For me, this Earth is one. My Guru says, ‘Ik Onkar.’ I was born from this earth, I got my life from this land and one day I will return to this soil. So, there is only love from my side for everyone, even if someone gets jealous of me or trolls me. I will always spread the message of love. I have always done so. I don’t care how anyone feels about it. Punjabi aa gaye oye.” This statement underscores his consistent stance of promoting love and peace, a theme he continues to share with fans across his tour stops in Australia.
