Arijit Singh’s concert at London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on September 5th was a milestone, as he became the first Indian artist to headline a UK stadium. Thousands gathered to listen to his popular tracks, including ‘Saiyaara,’ ‘Jhoome Jo Pathaan,’ ‘Rasiya,’ ‘Ami Je Tomar,’ and ‘Sapphire.’ The concert, which had been running for over two hours, was unexpectedly terminated at 10:30 pm due to curfew rules, causing the power to be cut off. Social media videos showed Arijit singing ‘Deva Deva’ from Brahmastra when the music suddenly stopped, with fireworks visible, stunning the audience. Fans indicated Arijit’s request for an additional 20 minutes to complete the performance. However, the power was shut down before the concert could conclude with a proper goodbye. Another video showed the stadium in darkness as disgruntled fans exited the venue.
