Aamir Khan’s latest project, ‘Sitaare Zameen Par,’ a spiritual sequel to the hit film ‘Taare Zameen Par,’ has been cleared for release by the CBFC. The film, which stars Aamir as a basketball coach and focuses on specially-abled children, encountered a setback when the CBFC proposed some cuts. It was revealed that Aamir was in disagreement about the cuts, due to creative vision. The film has now been approved and will be released on June 20, 2025. The film is a remake of ‘Champions’ and also stars Genelia Deshmukh.
