The Indian box office has been a vibrant arena this past week, with ‘Baahubali: The Epic’ leading the charge. This compilation of the highly successful ‘Baahubali’ saga, released on October 31st, has already raked in an impressive Rs 24.35 crore domestically, driven by audience nostalgia and the film’s inherent grandiosity. In a significant win for regional cinema, Zubeen Garg’s ‘Roi Roi Binale’ has notched up an extraordinary Rs 7 crore, setting a new benchmark for Assamese films. Meanwhile, ‘Thamma’ continues its unstoppable march, crossing the Rs 120 crore mark, further solidifying its status as a major box office hit. Harshvardhan Rane and Sonam Bajwa’s ‘Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat’ remains a steady performer, reaching Rs 64.40 crore. ‘Kantara: A Legend Chapter-1’ shows no signs of slowing down, its global earnings now exceeding Rs 834 crore. The initial performance of ‘Ikk Kudi’ was modest, though an increase in collections is expected.
