However, collections decreased to Rs 33.25 crore on Day 3 and Rs 32.65 crore on Day 4, bringing the extended weekend total to almost Rs 176 crore. The film experienced a considerable drop on Day 5, earning Rs 8.75 crore (down 73.20%), but improved slightly on Day 6 with Rs 9 crore. Early estimates place Day 7 collections at around Rs 5.50 crore, resulting in a first-week total of roughly Rs 199 crore across various languages (Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu). Despite a decrease in earnings during the weekdays, ‘War 2’ maintained a robust performance during its opening week and is considered a major box office success of 2025.

The film experienced a typical Monday drop with Rs 12 crore, and further slipped to Rs 9.5 crore on Day 6. Early estimates predict Day 7 at Rs 6.5 crore, resulting in a first-week total of an astonishing Rs 222.5 crore across all languages. Despite weekday declines, ‘Coolie’ has established itself as one of the largest Tamil blockbusters of 2025.
The plot of ‘Coolie’ centers on Deva, a former gold smuggler turned coolie, who aims to regain his past by reviving his old gang with stolen technology concealed in vintage golden watches, which leads to unexpected outcomes. The film also features Soubin Shahir, Upendra, Sathyaraj, Shruti Haasan, Rachita Ram, Reba Monica John, Junior MGR, Kanna Ravi, Monisha Blessy, and Kaali Venkat.
