A week is a crucial period to assess a film’s performance. Ajay Devgn’s ‘Son of Sardar 2’ and Siddhant Chaturvedi’s ‘Dhadak 2’, released on August 1st, have completed their first week. Their performance suggests they won’t be hits, and their prospects look bleak.
The 7th-day box office data indicates a decline. Astonishingly, ‘Saiyaara’ outshone both films, exceeding their 7th-day earnings on its 21st day.
‘Son of Sardar 2’ and ‘Dhadak 2’ are struggling as ‘Saiyaara’ thrives. These films have begun a downward trend. ‘Dhadak 2’, according to Sacnilk, made only 1 crore on day seven, with a total of 16.44 crore in its first week.
‘Son of Sardar 2’ is also facing difficulties. It collected 1.40 crore on its seventh day, with a total of 32.89 crore within seven days. This is not a positive outcome for Ajay, and the film seems headed for failure.
‘Saiyaara’, starring Ahaan Pandey, maintains its strong performance. It earned more on its 21st day than ‘Son of Sardar 2’ and ‘Dhadak 2’, with a business of 1.85 crore. The film’s total in India has reached 308.45 crore, while worldwide, it has surpassed 500 crore.
Ahaan Pandey’s ‘Saiyaara’ triumphs over Ajay and Siddhant’s films. Both ‘Son of Sardar 2’ and ‘Dhadak 2’ are far from reaching their budgets. Ajay’s film’s budget is 100 crore, whereas Siddhant’s is around 40-50 crore. Both films now appear to be struggling.
