Enthusiasm is high for the new season of ‘Bigg Boss.’ The producers have released a promo and confirmed Salman Khan’s return as the host. Moreover, the premiere date of ‘Bigg Boss 19’ has been revealed.
‘Bigg Boss 19’ will launch on Colors TV and JioHotstar on August 24, 2025, at 10:30 PM.
The Colors TV Instagram page posted the promo with the caption, “The game’s narrative has changed… This time, the housemates will form the government in Bigg Boss! Watch #BiggBoss19, from August 24th, at 10:30 PM, only on #Colors and @jiohotstar.”
Rumors are swirling on social media about potential celebrity contestants for ‘Bigg Boss 19’. Amaal Malik, Faisu Malik, Apoorva Mukhija, Dhanashree Verma, Rati Pandey, and Bhavika Sharma are reportedly being considered. Actress Khushi Dubey confirmed she was approached, stating, “Yes, it is true, I have been approached for the show. Let’s see, talks are going on, nothing is confirmed as of now. Abhi bas baat chal rahi hai.”
The official list of contestants has not yet been released.
Unlike previous seasons that typically lasted three months, this season is expected to run for five months. According to reports, Salman Khan will host ‘Bigg Boss 19’ for three months, with Karan Johar, Farah Khan, and Anil Kapoor possibly taking over later.
Karan Veer Mehra won ‘Bigg Boss 18’, with Vivian Dsena as the first runner-up. Avinash Mishra, Rajat Dalal, Esha Singh, and Chum Darang were also in the finale.
