Panipat, March 7: Rapper Badshah finds himself in deep trouble following the release of his controversial track ‘Tattiri’. Haryana Police have issued a Lookout Circular against the singer to prevent him from fleeing the country, escalating the row over the song’s objectionable content.
Education Minister Mahipal Dhanda has directed authorities to take stringent action against Badshah. The song, featuring schoolgirls in uniforms tossing bags and fleeing studies while using vulgar terms like ‘Badshala’, has sparked outrage for mocking education and women.
Speaking to the media, Dhanda revealed that an FIR was promptly filed upon learning of the video shot in government school attire. Efforts are underway to trace the Haryana Roadways bus shown in the clip, with severe penalties promised for the driver and conductor involved.
In response, Badshah issued a public apology on social media, expressing regret for hurting Haryana’s sentiments. ‘If anyone is offended, I sincerely apologize. Consider me your son and forgive me,’ he pleaded in a video message.
The Haryana State Women Commission had earlier summoned Badshah, leading to FIRs at two locations. Police have ordered the removal of the video from YouTube and other platforms, issuing notices for Badshah to appear immediately.
This isn’t the first time Badshah’s lyrics have courted controversy, but the blatant disrespect to school environments and use of derogatory language has crossed a line, prompting swift governmental intervention. Investigations continue as public anger mounts.
