‘Baahubali: The Epic’, a grand re-release, launched its box office journey with a formidable Rs 9.25 crore on its opening Friday. Including Rs 1.15 crore from prior special screenings, its total opening haul reached Rs 10.4 crore. The film experienced high demand, with Telugu occupancy rates hitting 63.63%.
‘Roi Roi Binale’, the Assamese musical starring the beloved Zubeen Garg in his final film, debuted on Friday, collecting Rs 1.53 crore. Directed by Rajesh Bhuyan, the film was well-received by audiences eager to see Garg’s last performance.
‘Thamma’, the horror-comedy, exhibited remarkable staying power, adding Rs 2.85 crore to its earnings on its second Friday. This impressive performance has propelled its total collection to Rs 111.25 crore, demonstrating consistent audience engagement.
‘Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat’, a romantic offering, brought in Rs 2.50 crore on its eleventh day, bringing its overall earnings to Rs 57.65 crore. The film, released earlier in the month, continues to perform steadily.
In a testament to its enduring popularity, ‘Kantara: Chapter 1’ added Rs 1.75 crore on its fifth Friday, pushing its grand total to Rs 603.45 crore. The film’s strong performance continues even after its extended theatrical run, with digital releases planned for various regions.
