During a recent interview, Bhojpuri actress Amrapali Dubey discussed her career and her perspective on the industry’s dynamics. Dubey, who has been a part of the Bhojpuri film world for eleven years, has worked with many actresses and maintains positive relationships with them. The interview delved into the common rivalries among actresses and asked Dubey to identify any potential competitors or any difficulties she has experienced with her peers. In the interview with BaatKuchen YouTube channel, Dubey discussed her journey, her relationships with other actors and actresses. She responded to a question about who could surpass her by saying, “I believe a good script is the true competition. Any actress can give her best performance with a good script and could potentially outperform me. The script is the biggest thing and is my biggest competition; if someone else gets a great script, and I don’t, I can be beaten through it.” She was then asked about her acceptance of being surpassed, replying, “Because that is the truth of the world. Nothing is permanent. If I am doing well, another will do well tomorrow. If I am doing good work and putting in effort, if someone else advances ahead of me, I should not feel bad, and I got this understanding from reading the Gita.” Dubey was asked if she harbors any jealousy toward other Bhojpuri actresses. “No, I don’t have such feelings towards anyone. I have good relationships with Rani Ji, Pakhi Ji, Rinku Ji, Anjana Ji, Akshara Ji or Kajal Ji, and I talk to all of them. We can’t achieve anything with jealousy and they are also doing their work, and I am doing mine. We’re all in the same industry, so there shouldn’t be any jealousy,” she responded.
