The Boston Celtics suspended head trainer Ime Udoka for the 2022-23 season, mentioning “violations of group insurance policies.”
The suspension comes after reviews Udoka was once in a consensual intimate dating with a girl hired through the franchise.
Udoka has coached the Celtics for one season, main the group since former head trainer Brad Stevens left the function to turn into president of basketball operations. He oversaw the groups Japanese Convention championship and a failed NBA Finals bid in opposition to the Golden State Warriors.
Udoka is most likely to get replaced through assistant trainer Joe Mazzulla, who would take at the function as period in-between head trainer. The group’s best assistant trainer, Will Hardy, left the group in June for a head training process with the Utah Jazz.
