  • Panchayat’s arbitrary order: The bore of the porta cabin was closed, the innocent children are yearning for every drop of water

Ravi Sahu, Narayanpur. Due to disruption in water supply in the Gram Panchayat Devgaon of the district, hundreds of students of PM Shri Porta Cabin and Ashram Hostel are facing many problems. The matter is related to the negligence of the Panchayat and villagers in the peon recruitment, which has created political tension in the village.

PM Shri Porta Cabin 500 seater and 100 seater boys hostel located in Devgaon Gram Panchayat of Narayanpur is facing severe water crisis these days. This crisis arose when the Panchayat and villagers disrupted the water supply due to the neglect of their people in the peon recruitment. When the villagers tried to draw attention to this issue, they were ignored by saying that it was ‘government’s instruction’. After which it was decided in the Gram Sabha that until the people of the Panchayat are not given priority, the water supply will not be restored.

    Porta Cabins and Hostel Students

Due to the stoppage of water supply from the village, the students in the porta cabins and hostels are facing severe shortage of drinking water. The administration has tried to supply water from the Nagar Palika Parishad tankers, but this measure is not proving to be sufficient.

Porta Cabin superintendent Ranjita Nag says that the bore being used for water supply actually belongs to the porta cabin, but it was dug at some distance due to lack of water level in the premises. At present, efforts are being made to solve the problem by getting water tankers from the municipality.

  • Officers’ report card: August was average for officers, now it’s time to pick up the pace..

Collector Ruchika Chauhan, SP Dharamvir Singh, Municipal Commissioner Aman Vaishnav

Naiduniya representative, Gwalior: The month of August was average for the officers of Gwalior. Whether it is the government’s schemes or work related to basic facilities, the issue of traffic improvement or crime control, work has been done on the ground and now more speed is needed. In the regional conclave held this month, the officials of administration, police and corporation showed good coordination.

Talking about the shortcomings, even the strictness of the collector in the Revenue Maha Abhiyan in the campaign related to the public could not reduce the pendency. On the other hand, better work is still pending from the Municipal Commissioner in road cleaning. The SP has shown performance in crime control but the public struggling with traffic is yet to be relieved. Now more expectations are from the officers in September. Read how much work Gwalior Collector, Municipal Commissioner and Superintendent of Police did in August, report card-

    Collector: Ruchika Chauhan

Coordination with other departments: 20-15 The collector’s coordination with other departments is good. Talking about this month, the regional conclave was successful and the investment promotion center was started due to the coordination of MPIDC, the department related to industries, the district industry center. There was coordination with the corporation regarding roads and with the police regarding the e-rickshaw project. Implementation of schemes 20-12: Revenue Maha Abhiyan was the best in the implementation of government schemes, although there was more pendency in it. There was good work in rural areas. Good work was done in PM Janman. There was average work in beneficiary benefit schemes. Pendency (CM Helpline) 20-14: Gwalior is at number 12 in the state in today’s situation on CM Helpline. The officers themselves should resolve the complaints in a satisfactory manner. There is a need to focus on this. There was also a review regarding monitoring of complaints. Public hearing 20-11: The number of complaints has increased in the public hearing held every Tuesday. Complaints are forwarded to the officials, but there is a need to review and tighten the way they are resolved. Innovation 20-15: A new system of e-rickshaws has been created for innovation which is about to start. Along with the launch of Yogyaata App, an experiment has been done for the elimination of begging. Efforts have been made to ensure that the number of weapon licenses does not increase unnecessarily.

    SP: Dharmveer Singh Yadav

Coordination with other departments: 20-15 Coordination of police with other departments has improved in the recent past. From encroachment removal to traffic, coordination with Municipal Corporation, District Administration, PWD, Electricity Company was good. Implementation of schemes 20-14: Whether it is about police related schemes or department’s instructions regarding policing, officers are seen to be active at the field level. From checking of school vehicles on the instructions of the government to decisions of the Road Safety Committee, there is a need for faster implementation. Pendency (CM Helpline) 20-13 The number of complaints in the CM Helpline of the police is high, complaints that can be resolved immediately are resolved quickly but there are many such problems which take time to resolve. Public hearing 20-16: Along with crime, many types of complaints come in the public hearing of the police, officers sit with the entire team on the spot but resolution becomes difficult within the time limit. More activity is needed for this. Innovation 20 -13 There are not many innovations in the police’s account but some experiments have been done in traffic. The police counselled the rickshaw pullers in the e-rickshaw system. Apart from this, surprise action from black spot to hooter and bullet silencer was also good.

    Municipal Commissioner: Aman Vaishnav

Coordination with other departments: 20-15 The coordination of the Municipal Corporation Commissioner with other departments is good. Work was done on the role of the corporation in the implementation of government schemes, from construction permission of government departments to removal of poles, recovery of property tax. Implementation of schemes 20-13: More work is yet to be done in the Municipal Corporation in the implementation of schemes. During the tenure of the new commissioner, focus has been started on infrastructure based schemes, apart from this, beneficiary based schemes are yet to be expedited. Pendency (CM Helpline) 20-16: Most of the problems related to CM Helpline in the corporation are related to roads, sewer, water, resolution of complaints is also fine but the attitude of the officers needs to be made more sensitive at the monitoring level. Public hearing 20-12: In the public hearing held every Tuesday, the Municipal Corporation is piling up complaints, there is a need to work promptly on complaints ranging from illegal construction to basic facilities. There is speed in the level of resolution. Innovation 20 – 10 The account of the Municipal Corporation is weak in innovations. The Commissioner is constantly inspecting the cleanliness, some improvement is visible due to this strictness. Apart from this, there are no major achievements in the account of the corporation.

  • Is the administration playing with the lives of children? The school roof rests on a beam, a big accident can happen anytime, watch the video…

Gaurav Jain. Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi. The government and administration may claim to provide good education to the public, but the ground reality is telling something else. Such a picture of the government school of Gaurela has come to light which is exposing the claims of better education system. The roof of this school is supported by a wooden beam. Plaster is falling on the floor from the roof of the entire school. A big accident can happen in the school at any time, but no responsible officer reaches to inspect this school.

Let us tell you, the condition of the government primary school located in Patpri Chotkirewar village of Baiga dominated Gram Panchayat Amadob of tribal area of Gaurela development block is very pathetic. During the rainy season, water drips from the dilapidated roof of the school, due to which the room gets flooded and the studies of the children get affected. The toilet is also in such a bad condition that it is no longer possible to use it. The condition of this school has become so dilapidated that the plaster of the roof keeps falling on the floor every day. There is a great danger to the lives of children in this school. But till now no responsible officer has come to inspect this school.

    Watch video:

Looking at the dilapidated schools and the negligence of the administration, questions arise that if the education system is so poor, how will the future of our children be safe? In this school, children have narrowly escaped accidents many times. If any serious incident happens, who will be responsible for it? The Baiga tribals are considered the adopted sons of the President, yet these people are deprived of education and basic facilities.

School roof rests on bamboo poles:

Complained to the authorities many times

24 children are studying in this school, but seeing the poor condition of the school, parents hesitate to send their children to school. Out of helplessness, they send their children here, where they live under the shadow of danger. Many times the responsible officials were informed to improve the situation here, but till now no concrete steps have been taken. Now it remains to be seen when the administration will repair this dilapidated school and improve the education system.

  • The Role of Credit Scores in Availing Loans – Insights for Bajaj Finserv Users |

A credit score represents your creditworthiness and is assessed by lenders to calculate the risk of lending you money. Usually, a higher credit score makes it easier to get loans with better terms, while a lower score can limit your options.

Bajaj Finserv, a leading financial services provider, offers a one-of-its-kind “Credit Pass” subscription service which lets you monitor and track your credit score. Also, subscribers get to use a personalized dashboard and periodically receive credit health reports.

Moreover, maintaining accurate personal details like those on your PAN card are important. This helps in avoiding discrepancies, which can negatively impact your credit score.

Let us understand the role of credit score in determining your loan eligibility and see how Credit Pass by Bajaj Finserv can help you monitor and improve your credit scores. Also, we will learn how you can make PAN card corrections following a simple step-by-step guide.

    What Is A Credit Score?

A credit score is a numerical representation of an individual’s creditworthiness. It ranges from 300 to 900 and is provided by CIBIL, one of India’s main credit information companies.

It is worth mentioning that a high CIBIL score enhances loan approval chances and helps in securing favorable interest rates. CIBIL calculates these credit scores based on an individual’s credit history and financial behavior.

What Is The Significance of Credit Scores While Obtaining Loans?

Credit scores reflect the borrowing and repayment habits of borrowers. They are widely used by lenders while extending loans. Let’s understand why these scores are vital in the loan approval process:

Lenders use credit scores to assess the risk of lending money to a borrower. A higher score suggests a lower risk.
Applicants with higher credit scores are more likely to get their loans approved.
Borrowers with higher scores often receive loans at lower interest rates, as they are deemed less risky.
Higher credit scores often result in higher loan amounts being sanctioned.

How Can the Bajaj Finserv Credit Pass Help You?

To help individuals track and monitor their credit scores, Bajaj Finserv offers India’s first subscription-based service called Credit Pass. Powered by CIBIL, you can use Credit Pass to easily check your credit score and get a detailed overview of your credit health. To understand better, let’s check out some of its major benefits:

    Credit Score and Dashboard Access

Using the Credit Pass, you can quickly check your credit score through a personalised dashboard that shows your overall credit health. This helps determine if you can easily get a loan or credit card.

Obtain A Bird’s-Eye View of All Your Finances

All Credit Pass subscribers get a customized dashboard, which is easy to use and lets you view all your credit cards, loans, repayment history, and more in one place.

Credit Pass lets you monitor important factors that affect your credit health, such as repayment history, credit utilization, length of credit history, types of credit, and loan inquiries.

Let us take a look at an example:

Shalini has a home loan and two credit cards. She pays her EMIs on time but finds it difficult to track all her loans and monitor her credit health. After obtaining the Credit Pass subscription, she can get a comprehensive summary of her repayment schedules, details of her various loans, and other financial information in one convenient location (dashboard). Also, she can regularly track her credit score and periodically receive credit health reports.

How Do Credit Scores Impact Loan Eligibility?

Credit scores directly influence an individual’s loan eligibility. Let’s see how different credit score ranges affect your chances of securing a loan and interest rates:

    CIBIL score range
    Remarks
    Indication

    Less than 650
    Poor
Indicates a history of delayed payments. High risk of default.

    650-699
    Average
Suggests struggles with meeting payment deadlines.

    700-749
    Good
Indicates good credit behavior. Higher chances of loan approval but might not get the best interest rates.

    750-849
    Great
Showcases consistent and timely payment history. Low risk of default.

    850-900
    Excellent
Easiest to secure loans with lower interest rates. Lenders are highly likely to approve loan applications.

It must be noted that the Bajaj Finserv Credit Pass is an excellent way to keep track of your credit score and understand your financial standing. Using it, you can check your updated CIBIL score every month. Please note that frequent checking of credit scores does not impact it.

Furthermore, premium plan subscribers get access to predictive tools, such as a credit score simulator and EMI calculator, which further help in making informed choices while applying for loans and credit cards.

What do Lenders Look For In Credit Scores?

At the time of evaluating loan and credit card applications, most lenders consider the following factors:

Payment History: Timely repayment of previous loans and credit card bills.

Credit Utilization Ratio: The ratio of current credit card debt to the total available credit limit.

Length of Credit History: Duration of the borrower’s credit history.

Credit Mix: Variety of credit accounts such as credit cards, personal loan accounts, installment loans, and mortgage loans.

Recent Credit Activity: Number of recently opened credit accounts and recent credit inquiries.

Monitor your credit scores and overall health using Bajaj Finserv Credit Pass. Enhance your loan eligibility and secure favorable interest rates today.

How To Achieve A High Credit Score?

It is worth mentioning that missing even a single payment can significantly damage your credit score. To avoid this mistake, most individuals set up reminders or automatic payments. Let us check out some other common mistakes that you must avoid to maintain a healthy credit score:

Do Not Max Out Your Credit Card

High credit utilization (using a large portion of your available credit limit) usually lowers your score. Hence, always aim to keep your usage below 30% of your total credit limit.

Do Not Close Your Old Accounts

By closing old credit accounts, you end up shortening your credit history. This negatively impacts your score. Hence, it is always better to keep them open.

Do Not Ignore Credit Report Errors

Failing to check and correct errors in your credit report results in a lower score. You can avoid this mistake by opting for the Bajaj Finserv Credit Pass, as all subscribers regularly receive accurate and error-free credit health reports.

How To Make PAN Card Corrections And Improve Credit Score?

Be aware that accurate information on your PAN (Permanent Account Number) card is crucial. That is because discrepancies usually lead to issues with your credit report and score. Furthermore, most lenders verify your PAN card details during the loan approval process. Accurate information usually speeds up this process and reduces the chances of rejection. Hence, in cases of mismatches, you need to make PAN card corrections. Let’s check out how you can make these corrections online through the NSDL (Protean) portal:
