    Dropped out of college and fed sandwiches

    According to Annapurna police station, Hrithik was having an affair for a year. Both of them wanted to elope and get married. He wrote in the suicide note that his girlfriend’s brother Shubham and Nikhil were harassing her. I took more care of her than myself. I skipped college and fed her sandwiches. I bought her a lot of things. She was blackmailing me. Her brother had brought 15 goons with him.

    “My name is Hrithik Bachhane. My girlfriend and her two brothers are responsible for my death. I was having an affair with the girl for a year. Her family came to know about it. She ran away from home and wanted to marry me but did not bring any documents so that I could marry her. I have not done anything wrong to her.”

    I used to feed him sandwiches everyday

    “I used to feed her sandwiches and drop her to college everyday. I treated her more than my life, took care of her, never allowed her to miss anything. Whatever she asked for, I got it for her; sarees, makeup, lipstick, shoes, suits, clothes. But she blackmailed me a lot. I never threatened her, nor did I ever harass her.”

    Brother threatens me

    “Her brother comes every night at 10 o’clock and scares the family members. He does not explain things to his sister. I request the police to take strict action against her brother and give me justice. Because I am a boy, no one will listen to me, that is why I am going to die. My family should be given protection from him.”

    Nai Duniya, Chhindwara (Pandhurna News). The Gotmar fair, which has gained recognition in the country and abroad, was played on the banks of the Jam river in Pandhurna on Tuesday as well. People of both the villages pelted stones at each other in the Gotmar fair. 320 people were injured by stone pelting in the fair which started at 10 am. The condition of 4 is critical. 4 health camps were also set up in the fair. X-rays of 11 people were done. Among these, bones of hands and legs of 3 people were found broken. All of them are being treated at the civil hospital.

    On the bridge of Jam river, people of Pandhurna and Sawargaon kept pelting stones on each other. A young man arrived wearing a cricket kit to save himself from the stones. This game continued till evening. Police force of 6 districts was deployed in the fair. The fair has been organised traditionally for the past 300 years. In this, people of Sawargaon and Pandhurna sides pelt stones on each other.

After this, the people of Sawargaon pelted stones on the boy. As soon as the boy’s family came to know about this, they also started pelting stones to save the boy.

    These two lovers died in the middle of the Jam river due to the shower of stones between the Pandhurna side and Sawargaon side. The bodies of these two lovers were picked up and taken to the court of Maa Chandika and after performing Puja, the last rites were performed. In memory of this incident, the Gotmar fair is celebrated by worshipping Maa Chandika and this tradition has been going on for many years.

    During the fair, after worshipping Goddess Chandika, a flag and a palash tree are planted in the middle of the Jam river and then the people of Pandhurna from one side and the people of Sawargaon from the other side pelt stones at each other, in which many people get injured in this stone pelting.     He said that the Government of India has approved 8 lakh 46 thousand houses. People deprived due to the inaction of the previous government will get the benefit. Out of these, 24 thousand houses have been completed for the people of special backward tribes.

    The Chief Minister alleged that the previous government had approved housing for 47 thousand 90 people by making a separate scheme, out of which housing was approved for 25 thousand people. We are not discriminating in the announcement made by the previous government. The remaining people will also get the benefit of the housing scheme.

    Under the able leadership of Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, the Union Cabinet has approved this scheme for the remaining 6,99,331 families in the permanent waiting list prepared on the basis of SECC 2011 data under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin and 1,47,600 families out of 8,19,999 families of Awas Plus.

    In the meeting of the committees, ADM Devendra Patel has asked the officials of the Ganesh Utsav committees not to set up pandals on the roadside so as not to disturb the peace and to avoid traffic obstruction. A cleanliness drive will also be run during the festival and the concerned committees will be held responsible in case of any violation. Along with this, a warning has also been given of strict action for spreading pollution and dirt. Additional Superintendent of Police OP Sharma along with district administration officials and officers were present in the meeting.
