  • Parisiman Ayog: Delimitation Commission formed in Madhya Pradesh, boundaries of divisions and districts will be decided afresh

State Bureau, Naiduniya, Bhopal. Due to the formation of new districts and tehsils in Madhya Pradesh, the boundaries have increased and decreased. Some divisions have become very big and some small. The same situation is with the districts as well. Keeping in view the problems being faced by the common people and the revenue administration, the boundaries of divisions, districts and tehsils will be redefined.

For this, the government has formed a Delimitation Commission. Retired Additional Chief Secretary Manoj Srivastava has been made its member, who will inspect the division and district and submit his report to the government.

Giving information about the formation of the commission, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that when we formed the government, we paid attention to the fact that being the second largest state of India geographically, Madhya Pradesh has its own area but with time there are some difficulties in it.

The districts have increased but there are many discrepancies regarding the boundaries of the districts. Sagar, Indore, Dhar are such districts which have big difficulties. Many divisions have become very small. To overcome these, a delimitation commission has been formed, through which the system will be improved by connecting nearby places to one district. The divisions and districts will be inspected again.
