  • Fifth Wolf Caught In UP’s Bahraich Amid Search Operation — VIDEO |

Wolf Attack In UP: Amid a wolf terror in Uttar Pradesh’s Bahraich, the fifth wolf has been captured by the Forest Department on Tuesday morning. Following the latest development, one more wolf is left to be caught.

Earlier, four wolves were captured under “Operation Bhediya.” Meanwhile, incorrect reports of wolf sightings and crowds gathering at search sites are severely affecting the Uttar Pradesh forest department’s efforts in Bahraich’s Mahasi tehsil to capture or neutralise a pack that has claimed the lives of eight people and left more than 20 injured since mid-July.

The department has deployed 165 forest personnel and 18 shooters to track the movement of the pack of wolves. It has struck fear in more than 50 villages in the tehsil. The search operation is aided by thermal camera-equipped drones and snap cameras in forests.

Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) Ajit Pratap Singh said sometimes “we receive reports of wolves being sighted in 10-15 different places, and at other times, two, four, or six… in reality, there could have been none (in an area),” as quoted by news agency PTI. “This causes undue pressure for immediate searches. However, our decisions are made based on our discretion,” he said.

Singh said from a distance there are chances that people can confuse a jackal for a wolf. Their behaviour is different, as a wolf will flee upon hearing a drone, while a jackal remains unaffected. The DFO said that recently a wolf was traced, but it managed to flee before the search team could close the perimeter, possibly because it heard a drone.

Besides incorrect reports, Singh said, “Whenever we conduct a search operation based on pugmarks, public curiosity disrupts our efforts. Crowds cause interference, increasing the chances of the animals escaping.” “Over the past two to three days, the troublesome wolves have not been located by either drones or snap cameras,” he further stated.

As a part of the ongoing search operation, teams are putting up posters and banners in villages and organising meetings to educate locals on how to ensure safety from wolves. The teams are apprising the people of various measures that they can adapt for their safety, including keeping doors closed and not sleeping outside.

Singh said to prevent the entry of a wolf into a village, firecrackers are being burst to scare it. Speaking to reporters, Chief Conservator of Forests Renu Singh said, “Eight people have died and 20 have been injured in wolf attacks. Out of six wolves sighted, we have captured four, but no wolf has been apprehended since the last capture on August 29.”

  • ‘Promotes China…Undermines India’: BJP’s Himanta Biswa Sarma Rips Into Rahul Gandhi’s US Address |

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Monday reproached Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for his remarks delivered at the University of Texas in Dallas, USA. The speech of LoP Gandhi has prompted many reactions from the BJP, following the same, Sarma alleged that he ‘undermined India.’

In his address to the gathering, Gandhi remarked that while the West faces an employment issue and India also struggles with employment problems, many countries around the world do not experience such challenges. He specifically noted, “China certainly doesn’t have an employment problem. Vietnam doesn’t have an employment problem.”

Reacting to the Congress leader’s remarks, the Assam Chief Minister said, “Rahul Gandhi promotes China in many ways. Undermining India, he tries to project China as the best nation. But there is no democracy and no religious freedom for people in China. But, Gandhi doesn’t talk about them.”

Not only Sarma, but numerous BJP leaders have also criticized Gandhi, accusing him of ‘damaging India’s reputation’ internationally.

BJP MP Manoj Tiwari said, “Have you ever heard of George Bush, Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, or Joe Biden speaking negatively about America after visiting another country? None of them criticized their own nation. Yet, Rahul Gandhi does exactly that. He speaks poorly of India, often without understanding the country, the Prime Minister, or the RSS.”

  • Bhajan singer Kanhaiya Mittal, who joined Congress, said this about CM Yogi

New Delhi. Famous Bhajan singer Kanhaiya Mittal is going to join Congress. There is a discussion in political circles that Kanhaiya Mittal wanted a ticket from Panchkula from Bharatiya Janata Party in Haryana Assembly elections, but he is joining Congress after not getting the ticket. However, Mittal has denied this in his video. Kanhaiya Mittal said that he has no differences with BJP, nor any animosity. He sang the song Jo Ram Ko Laaye Hain for CM Yogi. There is no mention of BJP in this song. He has always been and will always be our Guru Maharaj. Let us tell you that Kanhaiya Mittal, who became famous by singing Khatu Shyam bhajans, sang a song about Ram temple, which became very famous during the elections. This song was Jo Ram Ko Laaye Hain Hum Unko Laayenge.

Kanhaiya Mittal uploaded a video on Facebook on Sunday, in which Mittal talked about his political future. Mittal said that he has come to attend a program in Mehandipur Balaji. On Sunday morning, he received a call from one of his friends. He told his friend what he thought. In this, he told that it is possible that he may join Congress. Mittal said that there should not be only one party that talks about Sanatan, there should be people doing this in every party. That is why he felt like joining Congress. Some people are saying that BJP did not give him a ticket from Panchkula assembly seat, so he is joining Congress. But there is nothing like that. If I wanted a ticket, I would have contacted some people, but his thinking is different. He never said that vote for BJP, we have always said that vote for the one who supports Sanatan, who talks about Hindu interests.
