  • Jharkhand election Modi Modi started campaigning in Jharkhand

    Ranchi/Jamshedpur. Assembly elections in Jharkhand will be announced next month but before that Prime Minister Narendra Modi started campaigning on Sunday. He addressed the Parivartan rally organized by the party in Jamshedpur and launched a big attack on the three parties of the coalition running the government in the state – JMM, Congress and RJD. The Prime Minister called these three parties the biggest enemies of Jharkhand.

    Prime Minister Modi said- Jharkhand has three enemies, JMM, Congress and RJD. RJD has been taking revenge since the formation of separate Jharkhand. On the other hand, Congress hates Jharkhand. Despite being in power for so many years, Congress did nothing for the development of Jharkhand. The Prime Minister further said- If you want the development of the state, then give BJP a chance. However, after the formation of separate Jharkhand state, BJP has been in power for most of the time. The Prime Minister called JMM the enemy of Jharkhand but BJP has formed the government with JMM twice.

    However, Prime Minister Modi also targeted JMM regarding infiltration. He said that Jharkhand Mukti Morcha is standing with Bangladeshi infiltrators. In the politics of appeasement, these people first sacrifice the interests of Dalits, tribals and backward society. Earlier, the Prime Minister flagged off six Vande Bharat trains from Ranchi airport. He also launched seven major railway projects online. Along with this, two crore concrete houses were also given to the people.

    Earlier, PM Modi was supposed to do all these programs from Tatanagar railway station, but due to bad weather, the helicopter could not fly. Due to this, he did all the work from Ranchi airport and after that he reached Jamshedpur by road. Due to heavy rain, his road show from Bistupur Main Road to Gopal Maidan in Jamshedpur was also cancelled.

    Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai will be on a tour of Gujarat today as well. On the second day of his tour, the CM will attend the Global Renewable Energy Investors Meet and Expo program organized in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. He will attend the program from 10 am to 1 pm. After this, he will leave for Raipur at 3 pm.

    Today is the second day of Congress in-charge Sachin Pilot’s visit to Chhattisgarh. Pilot will hold a meeting with senior leaders at Congress Bhawan, in which the by-elections to be held in the South Assembly and the urban body elections will be discussed. At the same time, new in-charge secretaries will be given district-wise responsibilities.

    In the video, she is seen awestruck after seeing a woman Sarpanch giving a speech in English. The woman sarpanch was seen wearing a Rajputi dress and veil. She approached the podium to address a gathering.

    After reaching the podium as the woman Sarpanch started speaking in English, everyone, including IAS Tina Dabi, was left surprised after witnessing her fluency and command over the language. “I am glad to be part of this day. First of all, I welcome our collector, Tina ma’am,” the woman said during her speech.

The IAS officer was earlier the District Collector for Jaisalmer. 

    While her husband, IAS Pradeep Gawande, was appointed the District Collector of Jalore, approximately 150 km away from Barmer. IAS Tina is a high-profile bureaucrat whose wedding to fellow IAS officer Pradeep Gawande last year grabbed attention. She rose to fame in 2015 when she topped the UPSC Civil Services examination.

    Green coriander comes to the district from rural areas. Green coriander reaches the vegetable market from Bamangaon, Tigriyav, Ladanpur, Khaigaonda and Panjaria. Green coriander of farmers is being purchased here in bulk for up to Rs 200 per kg. It is being sold in the market for Rs 250 per kg.

    According to vegetable vendors, the demand for green coriander is high, but the supply has reduced. The crops have been affected by the rain that happened a few days ago. The price of bottle gourd has reached 40 rupees per kg and that of bottle gourd has reached 80 to 100 rupees per kg.

  • Andhra Pradesh Govt Suspends Three IPS Officers Over Actress Harassment Case |

    The Andhra Pradesh government on Sunday suspended three senior IPS officers following an inquiry into the allegations made by a Mumbai-based actress, Kadambari Jethwani. The state government issued orders suspending P. Sitharama Anjaneyulu, then Director General of Police, Intelligence; Kanthi Rana Tata, the then Commissioner of Police, Vijayawada, and Vishal Gunni, then Deputy Commissioner of Police, Vijayawada.

    She and her parents allegedly faced harassment at the hands of police officers at the instance of a leader of YSR Congress, which was then the ruling party in Andhra Pradesh. The suspensions were issued under Rule 3 (1) of the All India Services (Discipline & Appeal) Rules, 1969. Sitharama Anjaneyulu has been suspended on allegations of misuse of power and grave misconduct.

    He had allegedly instructed the other two officials to arrest the actress, even before a formal crime had been registered. There are allegations that Kanthi Rana Tata arrested the actress based on oral instructions from his superior on January 31, 2024, before the registration of the FIR on February 2.

    He booked flights for officers to Mumbai for the arrest without proper written instructions or due investigation. His actions were deemed to be misconduct and dereliction of duty. According to a separate suspension order, Vishal Gunni failed to properly examine the complaint before proceeding with the arrest.

    He too acted on oral instructions and traveled to Mumbai to arrest the actress without written orders or sufficient evidence. Director General of Police Dwarka Tirumala Rao had ordered an inquiry after the actress lodged an online complaint with the Andhra Pradesh police. She recorded the statement before Vijayawada police on August 30.

    Home Minister V. Anitha had earlier said that the government had taken the case of alleged harassment seriously. The actress had alleged that the three police officials along with some other lower-rank officials harassed her and her family in connection with a cheating case registered against her on a complaint by YSRCP leader KVR Vidya Sagar.

    The actress also alleged that she and her family members threatened to withdraw a case against the YSRCP leader registered at Bandra Kurla Police Station in Mumbai on her complaint. A case of cheating and forgery was registered against the actress and her parents at Ibrahimpatnam Police Station in Andhra Pradesh on a complaint by Vidyasagar.

    The YSRCP leader had alleged that she fabricated documents for five acres of land and extorted Rs 5 lakh from him. A police team had gone to Mumbai and arrested her and her parents. They were brought to Vijayawada and remanded before being released on bail. The YSR Congress leader reportedly had a friendship with the actress and allegedly started harassing her after she demanded that he marry her.
