    Authorities tracked the cocaine using GPS technology installed in the vehicle used for its transport. This seizure is linked to a larger syndicate previously implicated in a record bust where 562 kilograms of cocaine worth ₹5,600 crore were confiscated. With this latest haul, the total amount of cocaine recovered by Delhi Police has now reached 762 kilograms, marking it as one of the largest drug seizures in the country’s history.

    The recent operation follows an earlier bust in Punjab, where authorities uncovered a major drug syndicate involved in the distribution of approximately ₹10 crore worth of cocaine. This syndicate was known for sourcing significant quantities from Dubai and the UK.

    On October 2, Delhi Police’s Special Cell made headlines by seizing over 500 kilograms of cocaine in a separate operation, underscoring the ongoing battle against drug trafficking in the capital.

    At the same time, in some cases, students were caught copying from slips. The university management has made special arrangements to prevent cheating in the upcoming examinations. Three flying squads have been prepared for this. Also, a team of professors has been formed. This team will monitor the examinations online separately from the flying squad team. CCTV will be installed in all examination rooms. An examination control room has been prepared in the university.

    Let us tell you that despite all the security arrangements in BU examinations, it is proving impossible to stop cheating. BA, B.Com, B.Sc, B.Ed, LLB, MA, M.Sc examinations were conducted from December last year to May this year. About three lakh students participated in it. The flying squad team of the university has caught a total of 286 copycats in the last six months. In this, papers of 210 students have been cancelled. The number of complete exam cancellations is 70.

    More than 800 cheating cases were reported

    The flying squad team has detected more than 800 cases of cheating since June. Now the UFM (Unfair Means) Committee of BU will take a decision on cheating after investigation. Examination Control Room has been created to keep control on the examinations. Flying squads have been specifically instructed by the University to check cheating cases as well as all the records related to the maintenance of answer sheets and question papers at the examination centres.

    “A team of professors along with flying squads has been formed to stop the cheating cases. CCTVs have been installed at sensitive centres. The UFM committee will investigate the cases and take a decision soon.”
