  • Liquor scam: EOW arrested the state head of the duplicate hologram making company, recovered transport related documents

    Raipur. The Economic Offences Investigation Bureau (EOW) has got important evidence related to duplicate holograms in the excise scam. In this case, EOW has arrested Dilip Pandey, the state head of Prism Holography Security Films Pvt. Ltd., a company that supplied duplicate holograms.

    Based on the information provided during interrogation, the EOW has seized the hard drive of the industrial computer connected to the hologram printing setup in the ground floor room of the GST Bhawan office at Nava Raipur, through which the serial numbers of duplicate holograms were printed.

    Apart from this, the Economic Offences Investigation Bureau has also recovered the documents used for printing duplicate holograms from the Noida headquarters of Prism Company for transportation to Raipur, which contained the number of duplicate holograms and other details, from the accused Dilip Pandey. These documents are being examined.

    During interrogation, it has been confirmed that Prism Holography owner Vidhu Gupta, in connivance with the main accused of the syndicate Anil Tuteja, Anwar Dhebar, Arunpati Tripathi, had provided fake holograms to distilleries located in Chhattisgarh between 2019 and 2022. Further legal proceedings are underway in the EOW case.
