    Police have arrested the prime suspect in the murder case of a 24-year-old woman at a PG Bengaluru on July 23. Reportedly, the accused identified as Abhishek, was arrested in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, where he fled after committing murder.

Immediately after the incident, the rescue team of the municipality reached the spot and started rescue work. After about seven hours of effort, the elderly woman could be taken out of the debris. After this, she was immediately sent to the hospital by ambulance. Where she was declared dead.

    According to the information, Chandrakanta Sharma, late Bhagwandas Sharma, age 85, was cooking food in her building near Charkha Line Jain Temple at 10 am. Meanwhile, the dilapidated wall of the neighbor collapsed and fell on her, due to which she got buried under the debris. On getting the information, the Nagar Palika staff reached the spot and started the rescue under the leadership of senior officials. An ambulance was also called at the spot. Due to the collapse of the wall of the dilapidated building, a crowd of people gathered nearby. It is being told that the building was dilapidated and it has been raining continuously for two days, due to which the wall of the building collapsed.

    Chandrakanta lived in this building with her daughter Gudiya Sharma, who helped her in cooking. She went to another room when she needed something, when suddenly the wall fell on her. The daughter somehow managed to come out, but the elderly woman is buried under the debris. Her grandson Kartik Kubereshwar had gone to work, so he is also safe.

    On receiving the information, senior officials including SDM reached the spot and the health department staff also became ready with 108. Two JCBs were called on the spot.

To remove the debris, two JCBs and four tractor trolleys, about 25 SDERF jawans, the same number of municipal staff and a large number of police force were present. Aware citizens complain to the Nagar Palika about such houses in the area which can lead to some untoward incident, but the Nagar Palika does not take any action in this regard. Whereas many accidents have already happened due to dilapidated buildings.

    – In the year 2016, due to continuous rain, the sugar factory’s residence collapsed. In which three people were injured. Apart from this, other residences of the sugar factory are also collapsing.

    – In 2014, the roof of the hospital building collapsed due to its dilapidated condition. No one was injured in this incident, but a major incident could have happened any time. However, now the hospital is not operating in this building and it has been demolished.

A reward of Rs. 5 lakhs has been declared on her in Chhattisgarh, Rs. 3 lakhs in Madhya Pradesh and Rs. 5 lakhs in Maharashtra state. A total reward of Rs. 13 lakhs has been declared on the Naxalite. A total of 19 crimes are registered against the surrendered Naxalite in Balaghat of Madhya Pradesh. Whereas 3 crimes are registered in Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai district of Chhattisgarh.
