Naiduniya Representative, Indore. An engineer of a big IT company was cheated by cyber criminals. The criminals first deposited one thousand rupees in the name of like-commenting the video and then extorted Rs 30 lakh by luring them with huge profits in crypto currency.
When the girl tried to withdraw the money, the criminals switched off her mobile phone, threatening to implicate her in money laundering and cyber crime. On the complaint of the girl, the crime branch has registered an FIR. Investigation is going on on the basis of mobile and bank accounts.
According to Additional DCP (Crime) Rajesh Dandotiya, an SMS had come on the girl’s mobile on July 12. In the SMS, an easy way to earn money online sitting at home was mentioned. Through this, an attractive offer was given to like, comment and subscribe online videos.
In the greed of money, the girl joined the Telegram channel of the accused through the link given by them. Many people from India and abroad were associated with the channel who used to send fake applause and false messages of earning lakhs of rupees on the group. Seeing them the girl fell into the trap of the accused.
The accused started offering him to invest in crypto currency. Initially, only one thousand rupees were deposited on 13th July. The girl fell into the trap when the amount of investment was visible on the ID.
From then till now, in about three months, he deposited a total of Rs 30 lakh 20 thousand 628 in the accounts of the accused. He told the police that when he tried to withdraw the money, he was asked for it on the pretext of tax and other charges.

Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren who had filed his nomination for the upcoming assembly polls took a jibe at Assam CM & Jharkhand BJP co-in-charge of assembly elections Himanta Biswa Sarma by calling him as ‘Pravaasi’ CM who will not be seen in state once the assembly polls are over.
Interacting with media on Thursday after filing his nomination Soren said, “Today, I have filed my nomination for the assembly election… ‘Pravaasi’ CM (Himanta Biswa Sarma) is here and not only him but all the so-called big leaders of their party are here. They are here for a few days; after that they won’t be found here. They are doing their work, I am doing mine…”
Chief Minister Hemant Soren will contest from the Barhait Assembly constituency.
Meanwhile, Kalpana Soren, the JMM leader and wife of Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren, filed her nomination as her party candidate from Gandey Assembly constituency on Thursday. Kalpana Soren is currently representing the Gandey constituency.
She had won the constituency in a bypoll held in May this year by beating BJP’s Dilip Kumar Verma by a margin of 27,149 votes. The seat became vacant following the resignation of JMM MLA Sarfaraz Ahmad.
Jharkhand Mukti Morcha has released its first list of 35 candidates for the upcoming assembly polls in the state which are to be held in two phases on November 13 and 20.
On the other hand, Himanta Biswa Sarma who was in Jamshedpur as part of the poll campaign attacked the current government and said People will teach this govt (state) a lesson.
“There is an environment of enthusiasm and excitement among the people. We will win all four seats of Jamshedpur with big margins. People will teach this govt (state) a lesson… NDA will form the govt under the leadership of PM Modi. It’s not my work to estimate the number of seats that we will win, I think we will win 81 seats,” said Himanta.
The Assembly elections in Jharkhand will be held in two phases on November 13 and November 20 and votes will be counted on November 23.

With the construction of this ROB, one will not have to make a long journey of 15 kilometers. Besides, the residents of the area will also get relief from traffic problems. With its construction, road connectivity with old and new Bhopal and surrounding areas including Vidisha, Berasia will be strengthened.
Many trains depart from Bairagarh directly via Nishatpura. Currently, due to lack of proper connectivity, passengers have to go to Bairagarh to catch their train. With the construction of ROB, passengers will be able to catch their train directly from Nishatpura station without going to Bairagarh.
Raipur. Congress candidate Akash Sharma filed nomination today for Raipur South Assembly by-election. Congress showed its strength in the name of Sharma’s nomination rally. Shillong Teer Result 2024: Check Steps To Participate
Shillong Teer is a lottery game in which tickets ranging from Rs 1 to Rs 100 can be purchased. Sales start at 10 a.m., Monday to Sunday. Players must guess the number of arrows shot by 50 archers in the first and second rounds at Shillong’s Polo Ground in two minutes, with a maximum of 30 and 20 arrows respectively. Meghalaya has about 5,000 ticket counters distributed across 11 districts.
In a single day, the player must guess the last two digits of the total number of arrows shot and hit the target. The winner of the lottery is the individual who correctly predicts the number. Every day, 50 archers shoot 30 arrows in the first round and just 20 arrows in the second.

Private surveyors charge up to Rs 10,000 per acre of demarcation. On inquiring about the machines, they are told that they are broken. Whereas demarcation of lands is done for free through government machines.
Navdunia Representative, Bhopal. The administration has about 30 machines to demarcate land in the district, but these are never used by Revenue Inspectors (RIs) and Patwaris. Whenever demarcation is done, the responsible officers rely on private surveyors. These surveyors charge up to Rs 10,000 per acre for demarcation. Whereas in exchange of demarcation through government machines, farmers do not have to pay any additional fee. Recently, the Farmers Union had also lodged an objection with Collector Kaushalendra Vikram Singh regarding this.
Kolar, Berasia and Huzur tehsils of the district have maximum agricultural land. Because of this, more than 100 cases of demarcation occur every day in these tehsils. Whose application is submitted through Lok Seva Kendra. Here, after submitting the application, about one to two months are spent in getting the demarcation done. This process is done by RI and Patwaris from Tehsil level.
Sources reveal that the private surveyors who demarcate the lands are in collusion with the officials. As soon as the farmer applies for demarcation, the RI and Patwari sit with the private surveyor and prepare the complete map. After this, the land is demarcated on the spot on the same basis. In which a dispute arises if any discrepancy is found.
Whenever a farmer demands demarcation using government machines, it is refused by the RI and Patwari. At the same time, on repeated demand or complaint to the collector, these machines are declared defective. In such a situation, government machines are not used in demarcation.
The demarcation of farmers’ lands in the district is done by private surveyors and Patwari. Whereas the administration has more than 30 machines, which the officials say are faulty.

Hakim Nasir, Mahasamund. A 6-year-old innocent girl died in a tragic incident in Bagbahra police station area of the district. A truck filled with cement crushed a 6 year old innocent girl, due to which she died on the spot. Police sent the body for postmortem and have started further action.
According to the information, this incident happened on National Highway 353 near Phulwari Chowk. The deceased girl, Miss Deeksha Gupta, had gone out to collect things from her house and was crossing the road. Meanwhile, an Iron Traders truck (number CG 04 MC 7433) going to Odisha carrying cement from Raipur crushed it.
Immediately after the accident, both the truck driver and co-driver fled from the spot. Police have started investigating the incident and are searching for the accused driver. This incident is causing a lot of anger among the local people.
Assembly Elections 2024: Two states are going to elect their next governments – Jharkhand and Maharashtra in the coming weeks. Both of these assembly polls are crucial given the results of the recent assembly elections of Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir. While Congress lost Haryana to the BJP, it’s sitting outside the government in Jammu and Kashmir. The election results of these two states had put a serious dent in the Congress party’s winnability chances.
In Jammu and Kashmir, Congress contested 32 seats but could win only six seats. In Haryana, it contested 89 seats and won just 37 in a direct contest with the BJP. The seat-sharing agreement between Congress and INDIA bloc allies reflected the fallout of the Haryana and J&K results.

Nine assembly seats are going to the bypolls in Uttar Pradesh. The Congress and the Samajwadi Party were locked in an intense seat-sharing deal. But the Samajwadi Party refused to buzz to the Congress party’s demand and finally, it was decided that the Samajwadi Party would contest all the seats on its own. However, Akhilesh Yadav gave a face-saver to Congress by saying that it’s INDIA Bloc’s united fight.
Bihar Bye-elections
In Bihar, where the RJD, Congress and Left parties are part of the Mahagathbandhan, the Congress has again scored a duck. Of the four seats up for bypolls, the RJD is contesting 3 and the CPI-ML has got one. Notably, this comes as the Congress party’s strike rate has been very low in Bihar. In the Bihar assembly elections in 2020, Congress contested 70 seats and managed to win just 19.
Jharkhand Assembly Elections
In Jharkhand, the ruling Jharkhand Mukti Morcha has given 29 seats to the Congress out of the 80. It’s the only state where Congress has been given a respectable seat share by the allies. However, it again leaves the Congress dependent on the allies for government formation.
Maharashtra Assembly Polls
In Maharashtra, the Congress was trying to contest around 110 seats citing its improved performance in the Lok Sabha polls. However, regional parties like Shiv Sena-UBT and the NCP-Sharad Pawar did not buzz and after marathon meetings, the parties agreed to Shiv Sena-UBT’s proposal of contesting below 100 seats. Now, all three big parties will contest 85 seats each, leaving the rest of the seats for Samajwadi Party, PWP, CPI(M), CPI, and AAP.
Congress Being Pushed To The Wall
Once the largest party in the country, Congress is increasingly being pushed to the back seats across big states. INDIA bloc allies are forcing the grand old party either to sit out or sit back when it comes to seat sharing. Be it in West Bengal or Tamil Nadu, the allies took control of the polls by bagging the majority shares of the seats. The same is happening across other states where the Congress has failed to perform in a direct contest against the BJP. While Congress has displayed a maturity by playing second fiddle in these polls, the party will suffer in the long-run as the allies will bcome stronger, leaving less space for Congress.
