  • Pune Porsche Hit-and-Run Case: Prosecution Alleges Blood Samples of Accused’s Friends Were Also Swapped |

In the ongoing Pune Porsche hit-and-run case, the prosecution has made a startling revelation, alleging that blood samples of not just the 17-year-old accused but also his two friends were swapped to manipulate test results. This was reportedly done at the government-run Sassoon Hospital to falsely show that none of the individuals involved were under the influence of alcohol at the time of the incident.

    Incident Details

The incident, which occurred on May 19, resulted in the tragic deaths of two 24-year-old IT professionals who were struck by a Porsche driven by the intoxicated minor in Pune’s Kalyani Nagar area. The prosecution has argued that the accused’s parents, along with a doctor, conspired to tamper with the blood samples to shield their son from legal repercussions.

    Accused Doctor

Special prosecutor Shishir Hiray informed the court that Dr. Halnor, despite being fully aware of the legal implications, allegedly swapped the blood samples of the minor and his friends. The prosecution claimed that this was done in exchange for Rs. 2.5 lakh, orchestrated by the minor’s parents and another doctor, Dr. Taware.

The prosecutor presented a statement from a trainee doctor who was instructed to collect blood samples from Shivani Agarwal, one of the friends of the accused. The trainee claimed that the minor’s blood was replaced with that of his mother.

According to the prosecutor, Dr. Halnor later gave the cash to a colleague for safekeeping and insisted that he had done nothing wrong.

An eyewitness to the accident testified that the minor appeared intoxicated at the scene, struggling to stand after being pulled from his car by a crowd. Despite this, a preliminary medical report issued by Dr. Halnor just hours later indicated that the minor had not consumed alcohol.

  • ‘The team could not sleep properly on the night of the defeat, as soon as they woke up in the morning they made a strategy for victory’

Conversation with Olympic player Vivek Sagar

    Highlights

The Indian hockey team won the bronze medal in the Olympics. The entire hockey team was under pressure after losing the semi-finals. Vivek Sagar promised his sister to win the gold.

Naiduniya representative, Narmadapuram. The Indian hockey team went to Paris Olympics with the preparation to win the gold medal, the strategy and morale of the entire team was very strong, this is why we performed well in many matches. Olympic player Vivek Sagar said in a special conversation with Naiduniya that after losing the semi-final to Germany, the team was under a lot of pressure, that night the entire team was upset, no one could sleep at night.

Vivek Sagar said that as soon as we woke up in the morning, we made a strong strategy. We had the dream of making India win and at the same time, our special goal was to send off our teammate Sreejesh, who is retiring from hockey, with a win in the last match with him.

    All our teammates played well

Vivek Sagar said that along with the team coach and captain, we prepared the entire team, the competition with the opponents on the field was very tough, but all our teammates played well. The result was that our team has won the bronze medal.

Indian men’s hockey team midfielder and star player Vivek Sagar hails from Itarsi. While talking to Naiduniya on video call, Vivek shared his experience of Paris Olympics. Vivek participated in all 8 matches for India in Tokyo Olympics 2020, he scored an important goal in the last moments of the match against Argentina and put India ahead 2-1, after this he along with the whole team was busy preparing for the next Olympics in the Hockey Academy.

The team had decided that they will not go empty handed

Vivek said that the whole team had decided at night that we will not go empty handed in this Olympics. The target was big but the whole team achieved it. The whole country’s eyes were on our performance, in a world-class match we do not know how the opposing team will play under what big strategy, so there is a period of uncertainty. I am very happy that the whole country is celebrating our victory.

I remembered every moment throughout the night

After the defeat, everyone returned, but every moment of the match was coming to my mind again and again. I was thinking where did we go wrong in which minute. If only we had played differently then maybe we would have won. In this way, the whole night passed in my eyes, the scenes of that match were coming to my mind again and again. Right now, we will come to Delhi on 10th August, it is not decided where we will go after that.

I had promised my sister to win gold, now I will fulfill it

Vivek said that he is happy with the victory of the Indian team, but his dream of changing the colour of the medal could not be fulfilled. He is sad about this. When he left home, his sister had asked for a gold medal on Rakshabandhan. The whole team played well, gave their all, but could only win bronze.

It is certain that I will tell my sister about it when I win the gold medal, if not today then tomorrow. Vivek said that he was fully prepared for the gold medal and performed well, but there was some shortcoming and hence could not win. It is a matter of happiness that the Indian team is not returning empty handed.
