The reason for this is the active cyclone in the Bay of Bengal, which is moving forward as a low pressure area.

Rain alert in the next few days

According to the Meteorological Department, so far, the state has received more than 76 percent of the rainfall of this monsoon season i.e. 28.5 inches. Agricultural officials say that after conducting a survey of crops, it will be clear that excessive rain in the district has caused damage to maize, soybean and other crops.

On the other hand, farmers say that due to continuous rain, the growth of crops has stopped. Due to the cloudy sky and excessive rain, the roots of the maize crop are rotting and disease is spreading in it. The soybean crop has started turning yellow.

  • Hemant Soren BJP is doing horse-trading: Hemant

Godda. Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Sunday accused the BJP of horse-trading of MLAs and dividing the society. He made this statement a few hours after former Chief Minister Champai Soren reached Delhi.

Addressing a function in Godda district, Hemant Soren alleged that the BJP was bringing people from Gujarat, Assam and Maharashtra to “spread poison among tribals, Dalits, backward classes and minorities and make them fight with each other”. He said, “Forget about society, these people work to break families and parties. They do horse-trading of MLAs. Money is such a thing that it does not take much time for leaders to go here and there.”

Hemant Soren also said that assembly elections are to be held in Jharkhand this year, but the election schedule “will not be decided by the Election Commission but by the opposition party (BJP) in the state. It seems that the Election Commission is no longer a constitutional body as it has been captured by BJP people.”

The Chief Minister said, “I challenge them (BJP) that if assembly elections were held today, they would be wiped out from Jharkhand.”
