  • Kejriwal will come out of jail, got bail from Supreme Court

    Newsroom Team: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has got bail from the Supreme Court. However, in one case, the Supreme Court has given a setback to Arvind Kejriwal. The Supreme Court has not considered Kejriwal’s arrest illegal. The Supreme Court gave its verdict on Friday (September 13) on two petitions of Kejriwal in the excise policy scam case. Kejriwal had filed two separate petitions challenging his arrest and denial of bail in the corruption case registered by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). A bench headed by Justice Suryakant gave its verdict on both the petitions. Justice Ujjwal Bhuinya is also included in the bench. The bench had reserved the decision on Kejriwal’s petitions on September 5. The CBI arrested the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief in this case on June 26. On August 14, the apex court refused to grant interim bail to Kejriwal in the case and sought a reply from the agency on his petition challenging the arrest.

    Kejriwal had moved the Supreme Court challenging the High Court order

    Arvind Kejriwal had approached the Supreme Court challenging the Delhi High Court’s August 5 order. The High Court had upheld his arrest in this corruption case. The High Court had said that after the arrest of Kejriwal by the CBI, there is now sufficient evidence against him and looking at the relevant evidence, it cannot be said that the arrest was without reason or illegal.

  • Bodies of 4 youths found in Ranchi, incident happened late Tuesday night on the banks of Jumaar river: Police engaged in investigation

    Ranchi: Sensation has spread in the capital Ranchi due to the discovery of the bodies of four youths. The bodies of four youths were found late on Tuesday night near Rukka Dam. The deceased have been identified as Shoaib Akhtar (30), resident of Newari and Aashiq Ansari (25), Nurural (27) and Maqsood Ansari (40), residents of Chuttu. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot at around 12 o’clock at night and started investigation. Prima facie, it has come to light that the death was due to lightning.

    The family members told the police that all of them had left home at 9 in the morning saying that they were going fishing. When they did not reach home till late evening, they started searching for them. After a lot of searching, their bodies were found on the river bank. The police was immediately informed. The Sadar police station in-charge and the Mesra OP in-charge reached the spot.

    Police said that lightning had struck

    When the police reached the spot, all four bodies were lying scattered around. The body and clothes of Shoaib Akhtar and another person were burnt. Shoaib’s chest and hair on his head were completely burnt. There were no signs of burning on the two bodies lying nearby. The police is also considering it a death due to lightning. However, the investigation is being carried out keeping every aspect in mind.

A large number of people from the surrounding areas including Chuttu and Nevri gathered at Mesra OP. Some people were looking agitated. They were talking about murder, they said that the youths were killed and thrown into the dam. However, the police pacified the people after a lot of effort. The police of Sadar police station assured the villagers that the cause of death will be completely clear after the postmortem report comes. There will be no mistake in this. Further action will be taken as per the postmortem report.

  • Horrible road accident in Charhi valley, 3 people travelling in Alto died

    Hazaribagh: Three people died in a road accident near UP turn in Charhi police station area. All were going to their home in Petarwar from Hazaribagh in an Alto car. All three deceased have been identified. They include Rahul Agarwal, Dipesh Prasad and driver Hemant Prasad. All are residents of Petarwar in Ramgarh district.

    After getting information about the incident, their family members also reached Sheikh Bhikhari Medical College Hospital. They told that the three youths were returning home after getting their car serviced in Hazaribagh. During this time, all three died in a road accident. All of them belong to different families. After getting the information, on the initiative of Hazaribagh MP Manish Jaiswal, the bodies of all were brought to the hospital for post-mortem.

  • Violence again in Manipur, rocket attack on former CM’s house, 6 dead so far

Committee spokesperson Khuraijam Athauba said that Kuki aggression has doubled. In the last few days, there have been several incidents of drone bombing in Imphal West. Many people have been killed and many others injured in these.

  • Call for Jharkhand bandh on 11 September

    Vishnugarh: The North Chotanagpur divisional level meeting of Jharkhand Andolankari Morcha and Jharkhand Andolankari Sangharsh Morcha was held in Vishnugarh Inter College Ground. Block President Dularchand Sao presided over the meeting and Ghanshyam Pathak conducted the programme. State Convenor of Jharkhand Andolankari Saha Morcha and National General Secretary of Rashtriya Jankranti Morcha Mahmood Alam was present as the chief guest.

    In the meeting, Mahmood Alam said that the hopes with which the Jharkhand agitators had dreamt of a separate state have not been fulfilled. Today, corruption, exploitation, oppression, injustice and atrocities are prevalent everywhere in the state. The agitators are being neglected. He said that to raise these issues, the Morcha calls for a Jharkhand bandh on 11 September. Before this, a torch procession will be taken out on the evening of 10 September and the Morcha members will block the roads at Satamil Mor in Vishnugarh.

    Kashi Vishwanath and Dumka-Ranchi will flag off Vande Bharat train. On the proposal of Godda MP Dr. Nishikant Dubey, the Railway Ministry has approved Kashi Vishwanath from Baidyanath Dham and Vande Bharat from Dumka to Ranchi. It will run every day of the week except Friday. The train will leave Ranchi at 5 am and Dumka at 6.20 am. The train will reach Dumka from Ranchi via Tatisilve, Mesra, Barkakana, Hazaribagh, Koderma, New Giridih, Mahesh Munda, Jasidih, Baidyanath Dham. Dumka Ranchi Vande Bharat will take six hours. The train will reach Ranchi via Godda, Deoghar, Madhupur, New Giridih station, Jamua, Rajdhanwar, Koderma, Barhi and Hazaribagh. There will be no general bogie in the train. The fare of the train will be high. Tatanagar to Baidyanath Dham Kashi Vande Bharat train will leave Varanasi at 6:20 am. It will reach Gaya station at 9:10 am and will reach at 13:30 pm. Proposed timing of the train: The train will leave from Ranchi at 5 am, Tatasilve at 5.15 am, Mesra at 5.23 am, Barkakana at 6.15 am, Hazaribagh Town at 7.10 am, Koderma at 8.20 am, New Giridih at 10.33 am and Mahesh Munda at 10.55 am. With the start of train operation, the devotees visiting Baba Baidyanath in Deoghar, Vishnupad temple in Gaya and Kashi Vishwanath temple in Varanasi will get immense convenience. However, the official announcement in this regard is still awaited.

    Medical insurance cover of Rs 5 lakh approved

    The Jharkhand Cabinet today approved a medical insurance cover of Rs 5 lakh for more than 30,000 lawyers of the state. In a meeting chaired by Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Friday, the cabinet also approved a proposal to give a pension of Rs 14,000 every month to lawyers aged 65 years and above. Apart from this, the cabinet also approved a proposal to give a support amount of Rs 5,000 every month to new advocates. Advocate General Rajiv Ranjan, who played an important role in getting the welfare schemes approved by the state government, said that Chief Minister Hemant Soren has fulfilled the promise made to him in an interactive meeting with the lawyers last year. Expressing gratitude to the Chief Minister, he said that Jharkhand is the first state in the country to make such a rule for the welfare of lawyers. This is a message for the whole country. After the cabinet meeting, the lawyers expressed their gratitude by garlanding the Chief Minister and presenting flowers.

He said that the BJP government at the center administered the wrong vaccine to crores of people in the country during Corona, whose side effects are clearly visible. He said that today people are dying while walking. Leave aside the elderly, even healthy youth are dying in front of our eyes. CM Hemant Soren said that some youths died in the race of Product Soldier. This is the effect of the wrong vaccine for Corona. The vaccine which was rejected in the world was administered to the common people in India. The daughter of one of our former MPs died within three-four days of a common disease.

    Constable reinstatement will be investigated- Soren

    He said that recently the wife of one of our MPs died of a minor illness at the age of 28. Some youths have lost their lives in the ongoing race for constable recruitment. We are getting this matter investigated. The opposition is accusing us of this. But, I believe that these youths did not die only because of running.     Ranchi: Under the Mukhyamantri Mainiya Samman Yojana, about 70 crore rupees were transferred to the accounts of 7,04,927 women of five districts on Wednesday. A program was organized at the training ground in Namkum to give the honorarium to the women of Ranchi, Khunti, Simdega, Lohardaga and Gumla of South Chotanagpur division.

    On this occasion, Chief Minister Hemant Soren made a big announcement. He said – Now girls will be given the benefit of this scheme from the age of 18 instead of 21. The government will take an official decision on this within two-three days. Till then, girls of this age should submit applications in the camps being organized across the state under the Government at Your Doorstep program. As soon as the decision is taken, Rs 1000 will be credited to their account every month. The CM said that the Jharkhand government is helping the girl from birth to death with some scheme or the other. Till the age of 18, they are getting benefits from Savitri Bai Phule and other schemes. From the age of 21, the benefit of Mainiya Samman Yojana and then Sarvajan Pension Yojana is being received. Only girls between 18 and 20 years were not getting the benefit of any scheme. To overcome this gap, the government has reduced the age limit under this scheme. He again reiterated that in the next five years, the government will give one lakh rupees to every family.
