  • Hemant Soren Hemant did not get relief

    Ranchi/New Delhi. Former Chief Minister of Jharkhand and JMM leader Hemant Soren has not got relief from the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court has refused to hear his petition challenging the arrest. The Supreme Court has said that he should have first appealed in the Ranchi High Court. However, after his arrest on Wednesday night, Hemant Soren had filed a petition in the High Court on Thursday. But then he reached the Supreme Court and said there that he would withdraw the High Court petition. Now after the order of the Supreme Court, he has to file a petition in the High Court.

    The Supreme Court rejected his petition and said that it is a constitutional court and if it allows one person’s petition in this way, then it will have to be given to everyone. Meanwhile, the special PMLA court in Ranchi has sent Hemant Soren to ED custody for five days. Earlier, he was produced in the special court on Thursday. But instead of sending him on remand, the court sent him to judicial custody for one day.

Without naming anyone, Hemant said that these people have been torturing tribals, Dalits and minorities for years and my arrest on January 31 is also a part of such atrocities.

    These people want the tribals to go and live in the forests like 50-100 years ago. He said that these people may put me behind bars, but we are not going to accept defeat. They do not know that this is Jharkhand and countless tribals here have always fought against exploitation and atrocities. These are the people who are conspiring against us, who have not worn Gandhi cap till date. Without taking the name of the Central Government, he said that his associates and friends spent Rs. 12-14 lakh crores and went to foreign countries, but they could not even save their money.

    Hemant Soren said, “I will not shed tears, because tears have no value for you. When the time comes, I will give a befitting reply to each of their questions and conspiracies. Alleging misuse of agencies like ED, CBI, IT, Hemant Soren said that they never want any tribal to complete the five-year term as Chief Minister of Jharkhand. Forget me, even in his party he did not allow any tribal Chief Minister to complete his five-year term. (IANS)

    According to the information, Hemant Soren’s wife Kalpana Soren has also reached the ED office.

  • ED starts questioning Congress MP Dheeraj Sahu in Hemant Soren case

    Dheeraj Sahu:- ED is today interrogating Congress Rajya Sabha member Dheeraj Prasad Sahu in the money laundering case related to former Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren. Apart from this, Sahibganj DC Ramniwas Yadav has also reached the ED office today. The BMW car recovered by ED from Soren’s residence in Shantiniketan in Delhi on January 29 is being said to be related to Dheeraj Sahu. This car was registered at the address of Manesar, Haryana. On Wednesday, the ED team had knocked at this address. It was revealed that this property belonged to Dheeraj Sahu.

    After this, summons were issued to him and he was asked to reach ED’s Ranchi office today and record his statement. Sahu reached ED office at around 11 o’clock. ED would like to know from him why he gave BMW car to Hemant Soren? Apart from politics, what is his dealings with Hemant Soren? It is noteworthy that the biggest ever Income Tax raid was conducted on the residences and locations of Dheeraj Sahu in December last. In this raid, more than Rs 351 crore in cash was recovered from their locations in Odisha. Here, Deputy Commissioner of Sahibganj district Ramniwas Yadav also reached the ED office at around 11 am today on the summons of ED.

    In January, ED had recovered Rs 8 lakh in cash and 14 9 mm bullets during a raid at his official residence. ED had also searched two locations at his native place in Jaipur. There is information that many investment documents have been recovered from there. ED has also found in its investigation that Ramniwas Yadav did not withdraw money from his salary account for two years after posting as Sahibganj DC. ED has questioned him twice in the Sahibganj illegal mining scam on 23 January and 6 February last year. Now the scope of investigation in this case has increased further. (IANS)

  • ED could neither present evidence nor strong documents or evidence in the court: Bandhu Tirkey

    Ranchi: Bandhu Tirkey, former minister, member of the coordination committee of the Jharkhand government and working president of Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee, has said that today the Enforcement Directorate (ED) could neither present evidence nor strong documents or evidence in the PMLA Special Court. He said that the way all constitutional provisions have been flouted to arrest the Chief Minister of a state is unfortunate. Mr. Tirkey expressed confidence that tomorrow there is every possibility of getting relief not only from Ranchi but also from the Supreme Court. He said that he has full respect for the competent court. Shri Tirkey said that since the matter is judicial, it would be better to present his points point wise.

    Enforcement Directorate (ED) allegations

    1. To acquire 8.5 decimal land in Bariatu Bargai in one’s name.

    2. ⁠Approximately Rs. 36,00,000/- (Rs. thirty-six lakh) and some documents were recovered from the government residence in Delhi.

    Provision of law and reasoning of legal experts

    1. Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) is a special law.

    2. ⁠PMLA can be registered only in case of violation of a scheduled offense of this law.

    3. ⁠No sections of scheduled crime have been imposed against the Honorable Chief Minister nor is there any mention of scheduled crime being committed in this case.

    4. ⁠There is neither any alleged land in the name of Chief Minister Hemant Soren, nor any agreement nor any Jamabandi.

    5. ⁠An FIR was lodged against Circle Officer (CI) Bhanu Pratap only on the orders of Chief Minister Soren, after which ED sent Bhanu Pratap and others to jail.

    6. ⁠If Chief Minister Soren had a hand in the said land scam, an FIR would never have been filed by CM Soren.

    7. ⁠If it had not been done then CM Soren should have been arrested by ED in the same FIR.

    8. Since ED did not find anything against CM Soren, ED did not even interrogate CM Soren in that case.

    6. ⁠As far as the land situated in Bargai is concerned, that land is brown land.

    7. According to the rules, brown land cannot be transferred.

    8. Neither the government nor the court has any authority regarding Bhuihari land.

    9. The owner of Bhuihari land is Pahan who issues the receipt for the land.

    10. ⁠Thus there is no question of Chief Minister Soren taking that land.

    11. ⁠ED could not show any proof in the court that the said land was in the name of CM Soren.

    12. ⁠ED does not have the right to investigate the recovery of cash because the case does not fall under the category of scheduled crime, yet planting the money cannot be ruled out by ED.

    13. ⁠The ED had no authority to arrest CM Soren nor is there any concrete evidence.

    14. ⁠The Supreme Court has said in many of its decisions that ED cannot arrest anyone during interrogation.

    15. ⁠CM Soren has been arrested by the ED by abusing its powers, while the case is listed in the court of the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court tomorrow.

    Our popular Chief Minister Hemant Soren has been implicated in the conspiracy by ED, but the way ED could not present its strong evidence and evidence during the court debate today, it is clear that it was acting at the behest of someone only out of a feeling of resistance and Is working on unsolicited orders. We have full confidence that tomorrow a decision will be taken from the competent court in favor of Honorable Shri Hemant Soren ji.

The agency has extracted 539 pages of records of his WhatsApp chatting with Hemant Soren. In this chatting, there are details related to various types of deals ranging from offers of huge amount for transfer-posting of officers. ED would like to know from Vinod Singh what responses he had given to the messages he had sent to Hemant Soren through WhatsApp. What was the result of the recommendation he had made for transfer-posting of officers and how much money did he get in return for it and to whom did this money reach? Vinod Singh has also shared many types of documents with Hemant Soren on WhatsApp, including the admit cards of the candidates of Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission examination. CM Hemant Soren’s troubles have increased further after these details of WhatsApp chatting came to light.

    ED had also asked Hemant Soren for his mobile, but he refused to give it. Now Vinod Singh can be made to sit in front of Hemant Soren and interrogated. It is noteworthy that Vinod Singh is a well-known architect of Ranchi and has been close to Hemant Soren. ED had raided his premises in the beginning of January and seized mobile phones, electronic devices and many documents. Apart from Vinod Singh, preparations are also going on to interrogate Abhishek Prasad Pintu, who was the press advisor of Hemant Soren. In this raid, more than Rs 351 crore in cash was recovered from their locations in Odisha. It is being told that ED has got some evidence of Dheeraj Sahu’s relationship with Hemant Soren. The BMW car which was recovered from Soren’s residence in Shantiniketan in Delhi on January 29 is suspected to be related to Dheeraj Sahu. On Wednesday, ED raided the premises in Kardarpur village of Gurugram, Haryana, at whose address this car with Haryana number plate was registered.

    Apart from this, the agency had also searched two places in Kolkata. It is noteworthy that Hemant Soren was arrested by ED on January 31 in the case of illegal purchase and sale of eight and a half acres of land in Ranchi. ED is currently taking him on remand and interrogating him for the last six days. In this connection, ED has collected the details of those people with whom he has had any kind of transaction.   • Champai Soren takes oath as the 12th Chief Minister of Jharkhand

    Ranchi: Champai Soren took oath as the 12th Chief Minister of Jharkhand in the Durbar Hall of Raj Bhavan amid political turmoil. Meanwhile, senior Congress leader Alamgir Alam and RJD’s lone MLA Satyanand Bhokta took oath as ministers. Before this, everyone sitting in the Durbar Hall sang the national anthem.
