It is being told that in the meeting, CM Champai Soren himself proposed to resign and elect Hemant Soren as the leader and all the MLAs agreed to this. Congress party’s Jharkhand in-charge Ghulam Ahmed Mir, Jharkhand Pradesh Congress President Rajesh Thakur and prominent leaders of all three alliance parties are present in the meeting. Earlier, Champai Soren submitted his resignation to Governor CP Radhakrishnan at 7:20 pm on Wednesday evening. After his resignation, Hemant Soren staked claim to form the government. Along with Hemant Soren and Champai Soren, Congress President Rajesh Thakur also reached to meet the Governor.

Earlier in the day, a meeting of JMM, Congress and RJD was held at the Chief Minister’s residence, in which Hemant Soren was again elected as the leader of the legislative party. Only after that Champai Soren went to the Raj Bhavan to resign. After resigning, he said – I worked according to the decision of the alliance. After this Hemant Soren said – Champai ji has said his point. This is the decision of the alliance.

A backward class commission was formed and 27 percent backward classes were given place in Narendra Modi’s cabinet. No government in the country has done this till date. Amit Shah said that before Narendra Modi’s government, Congress ruled at the Center for 10 years, but it constantly neglected Jharkhand.

In the 10 years of Congress rule, only 84 thousand crores were given to Jharkhand for development schemes, whereas Narendra Modi’s government gave 3 lakh 84 thousand crores for the development of this state in the last ten years. Jharkhand was made by BJP and BJP will also develop it. Jharkhand has always been a state suffering from Naxalism, but Narendra Modi freed Jharkhand and Bihar from Naxalism in ten years. The BJP leader said that we are grateful to the people of the country that they made Narendra Modi the Prime Minister of the country for the third time by giving BJP continuous victory in the three elections of 2014, 2019 and 2024. Taking a dig at the Congress, he said that the government was formed by the BJP in the country, but the leaders of the losing party Congress are displaying such arrogance as if they have got two-thirds majority. The people of Jharkhand also made BJP win 9 out of 14 seats. BJP got lead in 52 out of 81 assembly seats here.

This figure shows that in the coming elections, a BJP government with full majority is going to be formed in the state.
