Lucknow is witnessing a transformative surge in innovation, fueled by the Yogi government’s strategic push into skilling and startups. With a robust startup policy and the AI Pragya program, Uttar Pradesh is laying the groundwork for an innovation-driven economy that promises to empower millions.

The state’s ambitious vision targets training nearly 10 lakh youth in AI and digital technologies, opening doors to employment and entrepreneurship. Cities like Kanpur, Lucknow, Noida, and Varanasi are buzzing with startup activities, invigorating the MSME sector and fostering a new generation of young entrepreneurs.

To bolster this tech ecosystem, around 400 units of Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) are operational across the province. Plans are underway to develop over 100 startup incubators, providing essential guidance and resources for young innovators to convert ideas into thriving businesses.

Partnerships with global giants like Microsoft and Google are equipping youth with cutting-edge digital skills and AI training. Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh’s electronics and mobile manufacturing sector is exploding, capturing 65% of India’s mobile production share and creating ripple effects through supply chains that benefit small and medium enterprises.

In a forward-thinking move, 49 ITI institutes are getting AI labs to deliver hands-on training in AI, data analytics, and advanced digital tools. This initiative aligns workforce skills with industry demands, preparing youth for global competition.

The impact is evident in soaring IT-ITeS exports, now exceeding Rs 44,000 crore, signaling Uttar Pradesh’s ascent as a digital innovation powerhouse poised for exponential growth.
