New Delhi, February 23 – Rajasthan Technical University’s Vice-Chancellor Nimit Chaudhary hailed the India AI Impact Summit 2026 as a game-changer for India’s standing in the artificial intelligence arena. Speaking exclusively to a news agency, Chaudhary credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi for orchestrating this landmark event, which positions India as a formidable global player in AI.

Chaudhary emphasized that the summit underscores the government’s unwavering commitment to AI development. ‘India will lead the AI revolution in the coming years,’ he asserted, highlighting the need for massive infrastructure investments to support this growth. The event’s success signals a strategic push to elevate India’s capabilities on the world stage.

He expressed dismay over disruptive protests by Youth Congress members at the summit. ‘This was no place for politics,’ Chaudhary remarked. ‘World leaders, tech giants, and ecosystem pioneers gathered to showcase India’s AI prowess. Such distractions undermine productivity at a critical juncture.’

Prime Minister Modi, in his keynote address, described AI as a transformative moment in human history. He likened it to major technological shifts but noted its unprecedented speed. ‘From machine learning to learning machines, this journey is rapid, profound, and pervasive,’ Modi stated. He stressed the summit’s goal: shifting AI from machine-centric to human-centric, ethical, and responsible innovation.

The Vice-Chancellor advocated for constructive dialogue over confrontation. ‘There are better ways to voice opinions without derailing global collaborations,’ he added. As India ramps up its AI ambitions, events like this summit pave the way for sustainable leadership, balancing innovation with accountability.
