Ahmedabad’s Vatva area now hosts the new ‘Bhavishya Nidhi Bhavan’, a state-of-the-art regional office of the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO). Inaugurated recently by Union Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, this facility is transforming services for over 400,000 employees and 21,000 pensioners across Gujarat.
The office covers partial areas of Ahmedabad district along with Anand, Kheda, Amreli, Bhavnagar, and Botad districts. It serves more than 7,000 companies, ensuring faster claim processing and seamless access to provident fund services.
Regional PF Commissioner-II Supratik Dash highlighted that the office handles around 50,000 claims monthly, with over 98% settled within 10 days. ‘This new setup is a game-changer for our members,’ Dash stated, emphasizing the efficiency gains.
Strategically located near National Highway-48, Rabari Colony Metro Station, and BRTS CTM Bus Stop, the building offers unmatched connectivity. Built at a cost of about 10 crore rupees over 1,723 square meters, it features a single-window system for PF withdrawals and updates, powered by digital technology.
Employees are thrilled. Hatu Bhai from Vires Cables called the connectivity ‘excellent’, while Umang Pandit from Melacron India noted that tasks now take 5-10 minutes instead of 20-25. This office not only speeds up operations but also enhances accessibility, marking a significant step forward in employee welfare in the region.
