In light of the Indian government’s recent GST reduction on motorcycles and scooters with engine capacity up to 350cc, Yamaha Motor India has adjusted the prices of its R3 and MT-03 models. Both motorcycles are now approximately ₹20,000 cheaper. The Yamaha R3, which was originally priced at ₹3.60 lakh, has received a price cut. The MT-03, which was previously sold at ₹3.50 lakh, is now available at a reduced price as well. After the initial launch of the R3 and MT-03 in India, the prices were met with some reservations. The company had previously decreased the prices of the motorcycles by up to one lakh rupees. This latest price reduction stems from the government’s GST cut, benefiting consumers. Current R3 and MT-03 models sold in India are the older versions. The latest versions of both motorcycles were launched in the international market by Yamaha last year, though the release date of the new models in India has not been announced. For those considering buying these 321cc Yamaha bikes, now might be a good time to do so. Customers can visit their nearest Yamaha Blue Square dealership and inquire about special offers. Additional incentives, such as exchange offers, corporate discounts, and bonuses, could be available at Yamaha dealerships during the festive season.
