In a bid to entice customers during the festive season, Volkswagen India is launching attractive offers. This September, substantial savings are available on its popular models, Taigun and Virtus. Customers have a chance to save up to ₹3 lakh on selected variants.
**Volkswagen Taigun Discount Highlights**
Following the trend from the previous month, the Volkswagen Taigun offers substantial savings, with a maximum potential discount of ₹3 lakh. The Tiguan, which is the flagship model, is brought in as a completely built unit (CBU) and comes with a 204hp 2.0-liter turbo-petrol engine connected to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission that transmits power to all wheels.
**Savings Breakdown**
Compared to last month, the overall discount on the Volkswagen Taigun has decreased by approximately ₹1 lakh. The Taigun topline 1.0-liter TSI AT variant offers the most significant discounts, while the Highline and GT line trim levels provide discounts of ₹1 lakh and ₹1.1 lakh, respectively. Similar to the Virtus, the base Comfortline trim of the Taigun is available at a special offer price of ₹10.99 lakh, which is ₹80,000 less than the ex-showroom price. Buyers of the Taigun GT 1.5-liter TSI (both chrome and sport) variants can avail of discounts up to ₹1.55 lakh on both MT and DSG transmissions.
**Volkswagen Virtus Discounts**
The Volkswagen Virtus lineup includes the 115hp, 1.0-liter turbo-petrol variant, which offers the highest discount, up to ₹1.5 lakh. The entry-level Virtus Comfortline is available at ₹10.54 lakh instead of ₹11.56 lakh, reflecting a price cut of ₹1.02 lakh. This model is powered by a 150hp, 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine. Virtus models benefit from maximum discounts of up to ₹90,000, incorporating exchange and loyalty bonuses. All 1.5-liter variants featuring a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission are offered discounts ranging from ₹35,000 to ₹40,000. As a result, the total discount on the Virtus has been reduced from the previous month’s ₹2 lakh.
