Vida, Hero MotoCorp’s electric two-wheeler brand, is introducing a range of new services for its customers. Announced just before the festive season, these include a buyback plan, extended warranty options, and unlimited fast-charging benefits. Vida aims to reduce the overall cost of ownership and foster customer trust with these new offerings. The Assured Buyback program provides customers with an option to receive up to 67.5% of the ex-showroom price after three years, offering an exit strategy and simplifying the process of upgrading scooters.

As part of the initiative, Vida is providing an extended warranty covering a period of 5 years or 75,000 km. This includes protection for 11+ crucial components. A battery warranty is also being offered, valid for 5 years/60,000 km, with the potential to extend it, ensuring protection from battery replacement and degradation, contributing to long-term performance.

Vida has launched a connectivity and fast-charging subscription called Vida Edge. This offers access to a network of 3,600 charging stations and over 40 connected features such as live tracking, ride statistics, and OTA updates. Additionally, Vida is offering 24/7 roadside assistance across the country, including support for flat tires, battery issues, and mechanical failures.

Hero saw over 10,000 e-scooter sales in July and continued to show growth in August. Due to the increasing demand for the new Vida VX2 Go and Plus scooters, the company’s electric two-wheeler (e-2W) market share has reached 13 percent. Hero is now positioned to meet the goal of selling over 1 lakh electric two-wheelers in a single year for the first time.
