TVS has introduced the XL100 Heavy Duty Alloy, a new variant in its XL100 lineup. The key upgrade is the inclusion of tubeless tires fitted on alloy wheels. This premium variant is priced at ₹59,800 (ex-showroom) and sits at the top of the existing model range, which includes four other variants.

The alloy wheels enhance the visual appeal of the TVS XL100 Heavy Duty, with red, blue, and gray color schemes available. The core design remains unchanged, with a single seat, round headlight, and handlebars. The XL100 also includes features like EcoThrust fuel injection, self-start, an LED headlight, and tubeless tires. These additions aim to boost fuel efficiency, facilitate easier starting, and increase safety.

Mechanically, the XL100 Heavy Duty Alloy maintains its specifications, utilizing a 99.7cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine producing 4.3 hp and 6.5 Nm of peak torque. The suspension setup features telescopic forks at the front and dual shock absorbers at the rear. Braking is achieved via drum brakes on both the front and rear wheels. Despite the changes, the curb weight is a consistent 89 kg, matching other variants.

The weight of the new variant is identical to three existing XL 100 models, at 89 kg. The base XL 100 Heavy Duty model is only 1 kg lighter. Notable features include an LED headlight, an easy on-off switch, and a mobile charging facility. The XL100 continues to be a prominent choice in the Indian market.
