The two-wheeler market is responding to recent changes in the Goods and Services Tax (GST) with companies implementing price cuts for their motorcycles and scooters. This trend brings welcome news to customers who have been waiting to buy a new motorcycle. TVS is among the companies making moves, announcing substantial price reductions for its popular Ronin bike.

The TVS Ronin, a popular choice among young riders, features a 225.9cc engine. As the engine capacity is under 350cc, the bike falls under the new GST guidelines. This has resulted in price reductions reaching ₹14,000. The motorcycle is offered in six variants, each with different price adjustments.

    * Lightning Black: Previous price ₹1,35,990, New price ₹1,24,790 (reduction of ₹11,200)
    * Magma Red: Previous price ₹1,38,520, New price ₹1,27,090 (reduction of ₹11,430)
    * Glacier Silver: Previous price ₹1,60,510, New price ₹1,47,290 (reduction of ₹13,220)
    * Charcoal Ember: Previous price ₹1,62,010, New price ₹1,48,590 (reduction of ₹13,420)
    * Nimbus Grey: Previous price ₹1,73,720, New price ₹1,59,390 (reduction of ₹14,330)
    * Midnight Blue: Previous price ₹1,73,720, New price ₹1,59,390 (reduction of ₹14,330)

The price cuts provide a significant advantage for young consumers looking for stylish and powerful bikes. The TVS Ronin, already well-liked by young people, is likely to experience a rise in demand due to the price reduction. The design and features of the bike are crafted to offer comfort during both city commutes and long-distance rides. Overall, this reduction in GST benefits customers. The TVS Ronin becomes more accessible, with savings of up to ₹14,000, making it even more appealing in its segment, and the expectation is for an increase in sales in the coming period.
