Swiggy, a leading food delivery service, has announced a partnership with electric mobility company Bounce. This collaboration will result in the inclusion of electric scooters within Swiggy’s delivery fleet. The initial phase of the rollout will see Bounce launching its electric scooters in Delhi-NCR and Bangalore within the next three months. The scooters will be accessible through both the Bounce mobile app and the Swiggy delivery partner app, with special pricing exclusively for Swiggy and Instamart delivery partners.
The objective of this partnership is to make electric mobility more accessible and cost-effective for delivery partners, leading to lower operating expenses and a reduced carbon footprint for hyperlocal deliveries. The Bangalore-based company is actively working with over 50 EV partners across India to drive the adoption of electric vehicles within its delivery fleet. According to Swiggy, the collaboration with Bounce will further strengthen this initiative.
