SUV Price Cuts by Mahindra: Bolero, Thar, and XUV700 See Reduced Prices

In response to the recent GST reforms, Mahindra and Mahindra has decreased the prices of several SUV models. The price cuts, which can reach up to Rs 2.56 lakh, affect models like the Bolero/Neo, XUV 3XO, Thar, Scorpio Classic, Scorpio-N, Thar Roxx, and XUV700. Customers can now benefit from additional savings, with some cuts offering up to Rs 1.29 lakh in savings. These new prices are specifically for Mahindra’s internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles. This is the second time within a month that Mahindra has reduced prices; the initial round took place on September 6th, with cuts up to Rs 1.56 lakh for models including the Bolero, Bolero Neo, Thar 2WD, Thar 4WD, Scorpio-N, and Thar Roxx. The GST changes introduce revised tax structures for different vehicle classes, including a reduction for smaller cars and adjusted rates for larger vehicles. Additionally, the GST on agricultural machinery has been lowered, and auto parts now have a standard 18% GST rate.
