A SpiceJet flight from Mumbai to Bengaluru turned unusual when a passenger found themself locked in the aircraft’s restroom for the entire flight. The airline has issued an apology and is understood to have provided a ticket refund. The flight, which was delayed by two hours, took off from Mumbai at 2:10 AM. A passenger in seat 14D entered the lavatory after takeoff and was unable to exit because of a faulty lock. Despite the passenger and crew’s attempts, the door remained jammed. To ease the passenger’s distress, the crew slipped a note under the door asking them to stay put until the flight reached Bengaluru. The plane landed in Bengaluru around 3:45 AM, and ground staff eventually opened the door. The incident has since gone viral, with many social media users commenting on the situation and the note. SpiceJet has offered its apologies for the incident.
