In a bizarre incident, a passenger on a SpiceJet flight from Mumbai to Bengaluru was stuck inside the lavatory for the entire duration of the flight. The airline has offered an apology and a refund, but the unusual circumstances have garnered considerable attention.

The passenger was finally rescued after the plane landed at Bengaluru airport, with ground staff and engineers forced to break open the jammed toilet door. The incident occurred on a Monday night flight that had been delayed by two hours. The plane departed Mumbai at 2:10 AM, despite a scheduled departure of 10:55 PM. The passenger, who was in seat 14D, entered the restroom shortly after takeoff and found themselves unable to exit due to a faulty lock.

As the crew tried to address the problem, they passed a handwritten note under the door, urging the passenger to remain calm and stay seated until the flight landed in Bengaluru. The image of the note went viral, with many people finding it humorous. The flight touched down in Bengaluru at around 3:45 AM. The airline has issued an apology for the inconvenience.
