Renault has launched a 10th Anniversary Edition of the Kwid in India, marking a decade since its introduction in 2015. The Kwid, recognized for its SUV-inspired styling, has been a key player in Renault’s success in the Indian market. This special edition reflects Renault’s ongoing commitment to innovation and providing affordable vehicles.

The new Anniversary Edition receives several visual upgrades while maintaining the same specifications as the regular model, including the engine. In addition, Renault has updated the Kwid’s variants and pricing.

    Features and Price Details

Limited to 500 units, this edition is based on the Techno variant and incorporates over ten exclusive changes. The manual transmission version is priced at ₹5.14 lakh, and the AMT version is priced at ₹5.63 lakh (ex-showroom, all India). The goal is to stand out in the competitive small car segment.

    India’s Most Affordable Dual-Tone Offering

It features dual-tone color options: Fiery Red with Black Roof and Shadow Grey with Black Roof. Other highlights include black flex wheels, new door and C-pillar decals, and yellow grill inserts. Renault emphasizes that this model is currently the most affordable dual-tone car available in the Indian market.

    Interior Updates

The interior features an Anniversary theme with yellow-accented seats, a leatherette steering wheel with mustard stitching, and seats with a special pattern. The infotainment system and door trims feature premium finishing. Illuminated scuff plates and puddle lamps enhance the premium feel.

    Kwid Variant Updates

Besides the Anniversary Edition, Renault has refreshed the entire Kwid range. The variants are now named Evolution (formerly RXL), Techno (formerly RXT), and Climber. All passengers benefit from 3-point seatbelts, and the Climber variant now offers 6 airbags, a segment-first.

    New Price Structure

Under the new pricing, the Kwid starts at ₹4.29 lakh for the base Authentic MT. The most affordable AMT variant is priced at ₹4.99 lakh. The Techno variant is available at ₹4.99 lakh (MT) and ₹5.48 lakh (AMT). The top-of-the-line Climber AMT dual-tone is priced at ₹5.99 lakh, keeping the entire range below ₹6 lakh.
