Renault India has revealed a teaser for the updated Kiger SUV facelift, confirming the launch date of the sub-compact SUV as August 24th. This marks a significant update for the Kiger since its 2021 launch, arriving in a highly competitive segment. Following the trend of the updated Nissan Magnite, the Kiger facelift is expected to receive feature upgrades and cosmetic enhancements. Upon launch, the Kiger facelift will compete with models such as the Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, and Nissan Magnite, with pricing expected to be slightly higher than the current model, potentially ranging from ₹6.2 lakh to ₹11.5 lakh.

The teaser suggests a focus on design. The new Kiger will feature a new lime green color and the updated 2D diamond logo. It is anticipated to include a new grille, redesigned bumpers, slim headlamps and new LED DRLs. The rear design is expected to include new C-shaped tail lamps with new LED internals, giving the SUV a more modern aesthetic.

The engine options are expected to remain the same, with a 1.0-liter naturally aspirated petrol and a 1.0-liter turbo-petrol engine. Transmission options will include manual, AMT, and CVT. A CNG version will be offered through dealer fitment. Interior upgrades are anticipated, with soft-touch materials, new upholstery, and minor dashboard changes. New features may include an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a digital driver display, wireless charging, and automatic climate control. Six airbags are anticipated.
