Royal Enfield has expanded its Guerrilla 450 lineup with a new color option to attract more buyers. The Shadow Ash color scheme is now available, with a starting price of Rs 2.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The bike sports an olive-green fuel tank with black accents and incorporates the Royal Enfield Tripper Dash console. The Guerrilla 450 is driven by the Sherpa 450 engine, the same 452cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine found in the Himalayan 450, delivering 39.52 bhp at 8,000 rpm and 40 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. It features a 6-speed transmission with a slip-and-assist clutch, and the Guerrilla 450 has unique engine mapping. The gearbox operates smoothly, and the clutch is easy to operate.
The Guerrilla 450 is equipped with a digital instrument cluster that includes Google Maps, much like the Himalayan 450. Lower-spec models have an analog instrument cluster with a digital display and Tripper pod, similar to those on the Shotgun 650 and Super Meteor 650. Other features include a USB charging port and hazard lights. The motorcycle comes with two riding modes, ride-by-wire technology, and LED lighting. The bike uses a tubular frame, 43mm telescopic forks at the front, and a monoshock at the rear. The front wheel has 140mm travel, and the rear wheel has 150mm travel. Braking is handled by a 310mm front disc and a 270mm rear disc, with 17-inch alloy wheels with 120/70 and 160/60 tires.
