The Maruti Suzuki Victoris, a new midsize SUV, has been unveiled, marking a significant addition to the brand’s lineup. Positioned to compete in the crowded SUV market, the Victoris will take on established models such as the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Honda Elevate. The Victoris will be offered in six trim levels: LXI, VXI, ZXI (O), ZXI+, and ZXI+ (O). The Victoris design incorporates elements from the E-Vitara. This is reflected in the slim LED headlights, sharp LED DRLs connected by a chrome strip, and prominent bumpers. The vehicle’s aesthetic is further enhanced by 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, which give it a more commanding presence. Inside, the Victoris showcases a 10.25-inch central touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility. It also incorporates an 8-speaker Infinity by Harman sound system with Dolby Atmos for enhanced audio performance. Further amenities include ventilated seats, an 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, ambient lighting, automatic climate control, a panoramic sunroof, a wireless charger, a powered tailgate, and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster with a heads-up display.

The Victoris will be the first Maruti model to feature Level 2 ADAS. For safety, it includes six airbags, ABS with EBD, traction control, hill-hold assist, a 360-degree camera, and TPMS. The SUV has also achieved a 5-star safety rating from Bharat NCAP. The powertrain options comprise a 1.5-litre mild-hybrid engine, a 1.5-litre strong-hybrid engine, and a CNG version with underbody tanks. Transmission choices include a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic, with the strong-hybrid model utilizing an eCVT. All-wheel-drive will be available on select variants.
