The recent heavy rains have led to severe problems in Delhi NCR and surrounding areas, including Haryana, Gurugram, and Bahadurgarh, where waterlogging is prevalent. A stockyard containing a large number of brand-new Maruti Suzuki cars has flooded, leaving many vehicles underwater for a week. Models such as Alto, WagonR, Vitara Brezza, and Invicto are among those affected, with water levels reaching the bonnets of some cars.
