A SpiceJet passenger faced an ordeal on a Mumbai to Bengaluru flight, spending the entire journey locked in the lavatory. While the airline has apologized and offered a refund, the incident has become a topic of widespread online discussion.

The passenger was finally released after the flight landed in Bengaluru, with ground staff and engineers intervening to open the jammed toilet door.

The flight, which was delayed, departed Mumbai at 2:10 AM. After takeoff, a passenger in seat 14D entered the restroom. The door lock malfunctioned, preventing the person from exiting.

Unable to unlock the door, the crew provided a handwritten note, slipped through the door’s gap. The note asked the passenger to remain calm and stay seated on the toilet seat until the flight landed.

Social media users shared a photo of the crew’s note, which quickly went viral, generating amusement and commentary on the crew’s handwriting.
