The Maruti Suzuki WagonR, a popular vehicle in India, will see its prices reduced from September 22nd. This adjustment is a result of the implementation of GST 2.0, which has lowered the tax rate on smaller cars. The WagonR, a favorite among Indian consumers, is now more affordable. Depending on the chosen variant and features, customers can potentially save thousands of rupees. The new prices will take effect later in September. Before GST 2.0, the base variant had an ex-showroom price, and now, with the updated tax structure, the entry-level variant’s price has decreased. The WagonR is equipped with a variety of features, including a touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone integration, electric side mirrors, alloy wheels, electronic stability control, parking sensors, and central locking. The price cuts are a consequence of the GST 2.0 changes, specifically the tax reduction for cars meeting specific criteria. The car offers multiple engine options, including petrol and CNG versions. Both manual and automated manual transmission options are available for buyers.
