Mahindra has expanded its electric vehicle offerings this festive season with a special edition: the BE 6 Batman Edition. Deliveries for this model are now underway. The initial launch was set for September 20th, International Batman Day, but was later postponed to September 25th.
This BE 6 model is a limited edition, with an initial production run of only 300 units. Responding to considerable demand, the company increased the production to 999 units. This expansion provided more customers with the opportunity to purchase this collector’s edition. The ex-showroom price is ₹27.79 lakh, about ₹89,000 more than the top-tier Pack Three variant.
The BE 6 Batman Edition boasts a distinctive design. The car’s body features a bespoke satin black finish, which exudes a premium and robust aesthetic. The Alchemy Gold-colored painted suspension and brake calipers add a sporty contrast.
Distinguishing features include 20-inch alloy wheels, custom Batman decals on the front doors, and BE 6 × The Dark Knight badging at the rear. This edition is a collector’s item rather than just a vehicle.
The interior is equally unique. It features a charcoal leather instrument panel, Suede leather upholstery with gold sepia stitching, and gold accents. The steering wheel, in-touch controller, and electronic parking brake system also have gold detailing.
The Bat-Sign is prominently displayed on the seats, boost button, and interior elements. The dashboard incorporates a pinstripe graphic, and the infotainment screen displays a Batman welcome animation upon startup. The exterior sound profile is also themed around Batman, making it truly unique.
The Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition is equipped with a 79 kWh battery pack. The manufacturer states a range of 683 km on a full charge. In real-world scenarios, the car can comfortably travel over 500 km, even with the air conditioning activated. This edition is remarkable not only for its design and theme, but also for its performance.
