With the forthcoming festive season, Mahindra is planning a series of vehicle launches, including an all-new Bolero, Bolero Neo, and a new version of the Thar Three-Door. The aging Bolero is slated for a comprehensive revamp, introducing updated features to enhance its market competitiveness. Camouflaged test vehicles suggest a design evolution, with a boxy aesthetic that bears a resemblance to the Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon. The new Bolero is anticipated to undergo cosmetic changes, while retaining its current mechanical components. Anticipated exterior updates include vertical grille slats featuring the Mahindra Twin Peaks logo and possible modifications to the rectangular headlamps. The interior of the new Bolero Facelift is expected to be significantly upgraded, incorporating a new touchscreen infotainment system, along with revised upholstery and design elements akin to those found in the Thar Roxx. It is likely the existing 1.5-liter mHawk diesel engine, producing 75hp and 210 Nm of torque, will be carried over, along with the existing 5-speed manual gearbox. The vehicle will retain its ladder frame chassis and could potentially be subject to a reduced 18% GST. Reports suggest the new Mahindra Bolero might launch next month, although the official release date is pending confirmation from Mahindra.
