An unfortunate event unfolded on a SpiceJet flight from Mumbai to Bengaluru, where a passenger was stuck inside the lavatory for the entire duration of the flight. The airline has issued an apology to the passenger and offered a refund, however, the situation caused a stir online. The passenger was eventually released after the flight landed in Bengaluru; ground staff and engineers had to break open the malfunctioning toilet door.

The incident reportedly happened on a Monday night flight. The flight was delayed and departed from Mumbai at 2:10 AM, instead of its scheduled time of 10:55 PM. The passenger, seated in seat 14D, entered the restroom soon after the plane took off. They found themselves trapped when the door lock jammed. The crew, unable to open the door, passed a handwritten note under the door, asking the passenger to remain calm and stay seated until landing in Bengaluru.

The note quickly went viral, with social media users finding the situation and the note itself amusing. The flight arrived in Bengaluru around 3:45 AM. Airport engineers were required to open the lavatory door. The airline has since expressed its regret and issued an apology to the passenger.
